This is dangerous. Whether or not you agree with it, the right to bear arms is part of the US Constitution which takes precedence over all else.

Just look at how low burglary rates etc are in States where the owners are allowed to defend themselves in their home with lethal force. In the UK, they're only just cottoning on to the idea that we should be allowed to kill to defend ourselves and murder charges in self-defence are being increasingly kicked out of Court.

With good psychiatric tests to make sure that nutters aren't getting hold of guns at point of sale, then I see no reason why people should not be allowed to buy guns.

99.9999999999% of gun owners are responsible human beings. Those who go out and kill with them would only use something else if they couldn't get a gun, but their victim could still defend themselves with a gun.

It's called "Programme of Action" (UN shit) To disarm countries and all people of "all" weapons. They must be la-la land or are we in law-law land.

Let's see, they know who all of the Veterans are (through the VA) and vet's are likely gun owners.
Now all they have to do is grab the membership rolls of the NRA and the subscription list of most of the major gun magazines (Guns and Ammo, Shotgun News, ect..) who's members/subscribers are likely gun owners and they would have the ID's of most of the people likely to have a firearm.
