I was going to put it as Divinity but that name was taken then my second choice was to put it as divinities but then I did not like it that way so I put the z at the end of divinity because it sounds sexy!

The idea of the "Grammar Nazi" is a flawed one on it's face.

While using standardized English is a helpful tool to understanding, some people, normally ones with decent, but not outstanding, intelligence try to control the flow of ideas using the only tool they have.

Their education.

Now, on the surface this would be fine, if they were arguing facts that were important to the topic at hand. Instead, since that's often not available to them, they seek to control others using what they can scrape up.

That's because language is actually correct, if it's understandable. The purpose of language is to communicate idea's, so as long as the reader can understand what is written, it is, by definition, correct.

That idea bugs the heck out of some people, who were schooled to believe that only the way they were taught in the fifth grade counts.

Languages that are living are subject to rabid change. It's uncomfortable for some, but it is, in the end, the face of the matter.

Don't worry about the Grammar police, they have no power and don't understand the topic they claim to be teaching you. If they did, most often, they'd keep their mouths firmly closed and walk away.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to them, OP. People have a funny way of trying to make everyone around them seem less important then they are. It's easy to sit back and be an armchair quarterback about everything in life and judge everyone over the most trivial of shit. It makes them feel important, smart and "cooler" then everyone else.

These people are Internet cowards. This is all they got to judge people. They're want you to perceive them as tough guys and gals behind a computer, but in real daily life they tend to be pushovers and weak minded. The Internet is their outlet to say what they want to say, because they cant do it in real life because they are such pussies and no one will take them seriously.

When it comes down to it though, good grammar and spelling cant save you from a good ass old fashion ass whoopin. They sure as hell wont say the type of shit in front of your face. Cowards operate best when they know they have immunity to consequences.
