But people would rather vote for whoever the media pushes on us. We deserve our fate at this time. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11369766 What you say would be true if the votes were counted properly, and not rigged by people programming voting machines. "With an eye made quiet by the power of harmony and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things." William Wordsworth And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God. John F. Kennedy Inaugural Address Lincoln's economic advisor Henry C. Carey explained the universal issue in his 1851 Harmony of Interests: "Two systems are before the world.... One looks to pauperism, ignorance, depopulation, and barbarism; the other to increasing wealth, comfort, intelligence, combination of action, and civilization. One looks towards universal war; the other towards universal peace. One is the English system; the other ... the American system, for ... elevating while equalizing the condition of man throughout the world." Resister User ID: 669410 United States 11/15/2012 12:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Our consitution is not what failed. We failed the constitution. It doesn't matter how good the law is if it is not adhered to. It is said that someone asked Benjamin Franklin what kind of government they had come up with and his reply was, "a republic, if you can keep it". I watched the whole speech this morning. Most excellent. That almost no-one else in congress cared because the average American voter doesn't care is the perfect example of why our republic has failed. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Yes indeed, the FAULT lies with the so called people NOT defending the law of the land and routing the traitors. Too much free money from the Federal Reserve, too many big houses, fat bank accounts and all the trappings of easy credit. Federal reserve fractional reserve credit=opium of the masses. |

We have failed the Constitution as a government, and it is equally true to say "The Constitution has failed," because the government has failed in its oath to preserve, protect, and defend it. They didn't even do it for 30 pieces of silver, but for relatively small amounts of printed fiat money running their campaigns and running our country into the ground.
