Moon Moving Waaaaaay too fast

Do you live in a valley with mountain ranges on either side? Or perhaps in the very far north? yesterday's moon rise was around Noon (12:36 pm local for me) and the moon set was around midnight (11:52 pm local for me) exactly like it should be for the first quarter phase. I saw it myself and the stunning silence from thousands of astronomers around the world backs me up. If it was moving fast enough to only be up for 5 hours in an unobstructed sky then that would be front page news across the world today.

How is what I said wrong? Are astronomers not people? Would they not want to try to claim credit for being the first to see it/describe it/explain it? Could thousands across the world in every country realistically be covered up?

You may consider also that phenomena actually may NOT happens every times you see the moon, I mean not every day. Maybe on other days that phenomena is less noticeable. That also the point.

I guess none of you moontards live on or near the ocean where we use tidal charts daily. If the moon was doing anything but what it is suppose to be doing my tidal charts would be inaccurate…guess what, they are perfect. You idiots are an embarrassment to the human race.

I've seen this happen before. I would be in one place and notice the moon get higher and higher every 10 minutes. There aren't any clouds either.

You mean the things that look EXACTLY like contrails, have provably been around since aircraft could fly high enough, only seem to show up when the conditions are right for persistent contrails and have NEVER been tested in situ by those that believe in them even though they promised to do so more than 10 years ago? Since there is no real proof of their existence there is no proof of any coverup. One thing this off topic subject has in common with anomalous Moon movements is again only those that really don't understand it seem to be the ones that believe in it.

Bad analogy on your part anyway though. IF "chemtrails" existed, they are only being covered up as far as those involved. The talking about them, the news is not being covered up at all. IF the Moon were wrong TENS OF THOUSANDS of people world wide would say so. They would have measurements describing it, not just "it don't look right" and "it never done that before". They would be able to stand up to criticism and not call their detractors trolls and shills because they can't answer questions. They would have far fewer detractors because the subject would be in the public eye because it would not be able to be covered up like you think.

the single best evidence for "chemtrails" would be a sample collected directly from a trail and tested in multiple labs. "Chemtrail" proponents said they were going to do just that multiple times in the last 10 years and in at least one instance collected money to do so. They have never done so. In the meantime, what people CALL "chemtrails" look EXACTLY like contrails, have provably been around since aircraft could fly high enough, only seem to show up when the conditions are right for persistent contrails and have NEVER been tested in situ by those that believe in them even though they promised to do so more than 10 years ago. EVERYTHING that I've seen can be explained by the 70+ year science behind contrails. I have not seen anything that can not be explained. IF that ever changes, then I'll be glad to look at the evidence and change my opinion. For now, the evidence points the other way. Again, this subject is off topic.

But the speed can vary dependent on where you and it is, as the northern star stands almost still. its the speed of the rotating earth
