Sorry Bernard, i dont agree with you. I did 'stuff' as a kid and if i found my kid doing that stuff i'd be pissed off to the max, but do you know what, the one thing i never did as a kid was break into someones house. That said if they hadn't broken in they'd still be alive, so why are they not to blame ?

Well the issue is he shot them again AFTER they fell which shifts from self-defense to murder in legal eyes. He also ended the misery of the girl with a final shot as she "gasped for air" which by LEGAL standards is no longer a act of defense.

If he had let them bleed out and die horribly from their wounds no one would have cared.

Make a law that allows people to kill and torture home invaders anyway they wish, that's a sure way to end home burglary. Unfortunately this will send a bad message to people, as home owners will be scared to defend themselves and criminals will be more prone to commit crimes.
