It would seem the black caucus & all the other activist types, i.e. Jackson & Sharpton, would concentrate their efforts to help people who are CURRENTLY in slavery. Instead of constantly wailing about those who passed a century ago.

I don't doubt it. I went to college with a guy from Pakistan who came from a pretty wealthy family. He drove a Porsche at school and always had plenty of money. He said his family had over 50 slaves at their "compound" and that when he was at home he had 3 slaves that attended to him personally. I once asked "don't you mean 'servants'" and he responded "no, we own them."

As I know, the slavery was made by Arabia possible to exist. The slaves were catched by moslims in their countries and sold to Europeans, which did sell them to European emigrants to America.
