Alcohol, caffeine, cigs and prescription drugs are fine because they've been given the big thumbs-up by the government meaning they aren't harmful. ALL other drugs (marijuana, crack, LSD, heroine - all the same essentially) are the devil for the simple reason that the government has made them illegal. Period. If a drug is illegal, it should stay illegal. We don't want to be reclassifying things just because the "people" want to. I dont know too many drug addicts that travel far and wide looking for drugs. hell, drugs are in prisons. Let people do what they want. If they wanna go overdose, thats fine with me. Frees up money for starving children, better education for those wanting it, etc. Why help people who dont want to be helped. If they want to see the bottom, let them see it. |

My biggest problem with drugs is once addicted, people steal from me to continue their habit...sure some can hold a job and still be an addict, but most can't, so if they get locked up they can't steal from me. Pot is not that bad, but the hard drugs shouldn't be legal... My problem with legalizing all drugs is I don't want to send a message to children that drugs are ok to do... I think the best option would be to take it out of the criminal justice system IE decriminalize...then treat it as a disease, or mental disorder. Not a crime. I think more people will be rehabilitated and we will save money in the long run. |
