Salvation has to do with receiving the free gift of forgiveness based on Jesus' death on the cross for sins. How good you are and the behaviors you choose or choose not to engage in have nothing to do with it.

Jesus' "death on the cross" has absolutely nothing to do with Salvation. Unfortunately, the behavior you choose or choose not to engage in does matter when it comes to Salvation. It's not the action itself that counts, but rather why you do it. There's a difference between behavior and actions.
