How the hell can you applaud this? The man helped create a life. What about his responsibility to the children? The kids are 50% his. It doesn't matter which sex carries the child. Both parents made a choice and are responsible for the outcome. And why should a mother put her children up for adoption just because her ex husband is lazy and irresponsible and doesn't want to live up to his obligations? You don't just toss your child aside because you're having financial difficulties.

In other news, said judge enforced the order by kicking him in the nuts with a lead sole boot.

More like "them" having children that "we" cannot afford.

Of course not. Those welfare queens are being paid by taxpayers to make poor babies who will grow up to be cheap labor for business. That cheap labor will also be subsidised by welfare babies.

If we didn't have so many poor people, wages would rise, and the very rich would be a little less rich.

So you see, you taxpayers have to pay welfare mothers to keep making welfare babies to keep wages really low. Just like you have to believe labor unions raise prices and bankrupt companies.

If labor unions raised wages to where a welfare baby could earn enough for a little apartment someplace safe and decent clothes and food and entertainment, she wouldn't become a welfare mama. At least not as a career choice.

What about the freedom the rest of us loose having to support those kids?

Why did you not get birth control? Why did you have children you can't afford?

Look, if poor women stopped having welfare babies wages would rise. Poor workers would demand higher wages to offset the welfare loss. Else they would leave the cities and follow the better jobs. They couldn't afford to make sandwiches for lawyers for six dollars an hour. Then in sixteen years when all those welfare babies would be growing up--labor shortage! Now who makes sandwiches for lawyers? Where are the poor people? How much do we have to pay a middle class kid to make sandwiches? OMG! Its socialism! The deli kid gets paid same as a legal assistant.

If poor women went on a baby-making strike, business would have a conniption. It would panic. You would see churches preaching against contraception, more hysteria about Muslim takeover, health reports about the dangers of contraception, big campaigns to raise the social status of mothers and demonise childfree women. I think we would see violence against women and workplace discrimination and harassment--meant to drive poor women back to welfare motherhood.


Poor women refusing to make poor babies would be treated like terrorists. They would be threatening the profits of big business. It would not be allowed.

We need those welfare people on the streets ready to take the job of any low wage worker who gets too smart or assertive.

How about the forced removal of any government support for any female who ever gives birth to any of his offspring, as well as those offspring in perpetuity?

That's kinda rad, man, but I like the way you're thinkin'!

A judge can only rule on points of law. There's no legal requirement to prove that you can financially support the children you father, so the judges ruling is invalid.
It may be stupid, irresponsible and selfish to father these children, but it's not illegal.

Where I live, some infractions can be documented either as a:

Local Ordinance violation (fine from the city)
A county law violation (criminal misdemeanor- on your record forever possible jail time.)
Or even as a State violation (Misdemeanor with jail and bigger fines.)

The same 'crime', three very different outcomes.

Visitors from different countries are shocked to learn about the discrepancy
and power held by the cops to determine which law to enforce.

Radical times demand radical thinking, and there is never any reason to violate individual sovereignty if force or fraud has not been utilized as a tool of crime.
