Sweden not a fan of the union too. Glad that at least some nations are not fond of this plan.

Sweden to stay outside, might not block EU bank union

But hey, all EU countries need to unite in order to maintain the stability, according to Mr van Rompuy (that guy noone voted for). Too bad he doesn't notice that his crazy plan to take away sovereignty from the individual countries will only be bad for the stability of Europe.

Please read this document to see all the crazy plans they want to push down our throats: [link to blogs.r.ftdata.co.uk]

the soviet union is gone. the european union will be gone too. unfortunately for us, living in the EU now it still means hardships in the near future. the initial idea of making trading between states easier can be seen as a good idea. but the institution we call EU today, what have emerged from the European Communities hardly has any future.
using semantics, the interesting thing is that while the word 'communities' refers to a number of independent members within the community, while 'union' carries unity, unison in it, bringing it down to one big unit, 'oneness', which Europe clearly is not, but they really want to force it on us.
also, the soviet union fell in 1991. shortly after they created the EU, its name derives from the maastrich treaty of 1993. symbol of the SU- red star. symbol of EU- yellow star. nothing new under the sun

Haha, yeah that Rompuy character is hilarious!

In addition he wasn't voted for by the people (it just came out in the news one day that the EU now has a president!), in fact they wouldn't even tell who exactly had chosen him! It was absurd, and remains as such this day.

And this Nobel peace prize thing, what a joke as well!

Re: BREAKING: EU banking union in the making - TODAY!
It's funny how in American media, Europe is often referred to as if it was one state. This message is delivered through the MSM, which of course obeys the agenda of the globalists.

Europeans have been pushed for years to become one nation, which is something very few over here really want. There are so many different cultures here, not melt together as in the US but residing on their own areas, there's just no way these people would identify themselves with the EU.

Co-operation is great, commerce is great, but what people want is that this takes place between nations, not by forcing us all to accept the same rules.

Today, 12-12-12, they'll be making decisions on European banking union. This is something "they" have been pushing through for a long time. People don't like it, so they keep bringing it up again and again using different names and reasonings for it.

The main point they keep repeating is, that this union is somehow supposed to stabilize the financial situation. However, anyone with a clear mind can see this is utter bullshit, just one of the many lame excuses they're using to push those less aware of the facts to the direction decided by the elite.

Also, it's just madness how they manage to present the situation as if the fractional banking system wouldn't have anything at all to do with the problems being fixed. Instead, more and more money is given to the banks, and this "banking union" b-shit means nothing but giving control of issues previously managed by each state to - international banks.

It's going to be interesting to see the results and consequences of today's decisions. I don't think anyone takes any of this seriously over here anymore, but of course TPTB will keep on pushing as hard and as far as they possibly can.

damn greece scammers. because of you and your greece scam scheme. the eu is in trouble in the first place.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29707589

The EU is in trouble since those behind the whole scheme specifically want it to be. Or, to be more precise, they want as many nations to be in trouble as possible, in order to use their old problem => reaction => solution thingy: [link to www.agent] provocateur/diocletian.html

Nothing to do with the Greek people. There's been a media war against them to make the rest of us miss the fact the actual problem is in the (fractional reserve) banking system and the associated crap.

I'm just not sure how the two social groups are going to...get along. I love where I live, but the people are not exactly "here... let me take care of you..." they are more the type to throw you a bucket, point and say, "water's down there a piece."

I don't really want to go into how they'd react if someone tried to come and steal the water or the bucket....

I think it's about time we get organized.

In fact I've been thinking about it for a long time, that it's a huge problem there's so little direct communication between the different European nations. It appears to have a lot to do with the language barrier - especially French and also German have been very unwilling to learn English, which makes it virtually impossible to even get a hold of what people in those countries are thinking about all this, or to exchange thoughts and opinions with them. I suppose that's changing thanks to the younger generations, but at least for myself I can say that I still have lots more online friends from the US and Canada than from Europe!

We need a place to meet and get discussions going.

Yeah, the whole thing is very obvious.

I guess some of that may have gone past the American tin foil audience, since there's obviously been lack of honest reporting of what's going on.

For someone living in Europe and coming across the one world government theories, they automatically associate with this EU BS.

seriously, people are so unaware and so willing to believe anything TPTB say if you told people that decapitation is the best way to stop a headache there would be people lining up to receive their treatments.

For those not willing to fall for it, they can just keep repeating it and then change the name and eventually everyone gives in.

The EU is essentially one large nation state.

Its common military is NATO, there is a common currency, and banking system.

The only steps left are to sweep away the old inefficient nationalistic structures. The military of each state will be removed, with only a shell for civil purposes left. The banking system is finishing a process which eliminates weak banks in weak nations. Once this is done, the largest banks which remain (and private banks as well) will become the de facto "European FED".

This was decided immediately after WWII by the USSR and the USA.

Europe's barbarism and constant warring amongst themselves will be tolerated no longer. Only one more conflict to initiate and all the problems will be solved.

 Quoting: Éireann

Klango.net, the first European social web site where it seems people from these very different cultures actually talk with each other. It's a rare thing; there's everything from former Soviet states with Russia as their main language to Italians to French to the Nordic countries - it's really not a miracle there's been a lack of communication for so long.

If you think about it, these are the nations where many of the "original" US immigrants came from. Just imagine having such a variety of people without the "must" factor (the immigrants had) to force them to learn a common language and figure out to get along despite all the cultural differences...

Thanks for your kind words! I guess I've used more than a few moments thinking about all this from the perspective of the bigger picture, and from there everything's pretty obvious and clear after all. It also helps when you have to communicate in language that's not native to you - it kind of forces you to keep things simple enough. ;)

I can already hear the bells ringing in the Europol offices; "getting organized" must be on top of the automatic alert list these days... ;D

True, although that NATO part isn't quite that clear (yet).

The only steps left are to sweep away the old inefficient nationalistic structures.
 Quoting: 535 1326993

Is this what you've been told, or is it what you think? I mean the national structures being inefficient?

The military of each state will be removed, with only a shell for civil purposes left. The banking system is finishing a process which eliminates weak banks in weak nations. Once this is done, the largest banks which remain (and private banks as well) will become the de facto "European FED".
 Quoting: 535 1326993

That's pretty much what "they've" been trying to do for a while.

I don't see there's any chance they would succeed though.

This was decided immediately after WWII by the USSR and the USA.
 Quoting: 535 1326993

I don't think either USSR nor the USA as countries / nations have nothing to say about these plans or decisions. They have been made on much higher levels.

Europe's barbarism and constant warring amongst themselves will be tolerated no longer. Only one more conflict to initiate and all the problems will be solved.

Well, I don't live in a big American city. I live in BFE Texas. The people that live around me are simple, salt of the earth people. They will band together, like our community always does, and we'll pull through. What I worry most about is what will happen when people from the big cities start running out of stuff.

If they're like georgia rednecks, we would shoot a hole in that bucket.
