They could be real people and Jesus could even have been real. But what I am saying is that the STORIES about him ARE NOT REAL. He was not born of a virgin. He did not raise people from the dead. All of the mythical stories about him were myths, copied directly from other older pagan dying and rising savior god myths. YOU are the ignorant person, only listening to what they teach you in Bible school. I would have been buried 6 feet under 3 times but I was saved Jesus intervened and saved me to live I did not die as I was suppose to by the grace of God. God is real ; Jesus Christ is real. I will not go into details here but this is true. You can keep believing as you wish but one day you will die and find out for yourself what is real. You would NOT be hanging out here on this thread if some part of you wants to really know if Jesus is real or not. You are not convinced of your own beliefs. Yes, I know this. I equate this with people in cults. It is very hard to deprogram someone who has been indoctrinated in a cult. They will even kill themselves for their leaders if required. They have no mind of their own. And it frightens me and I am surrounded by people like you. Believe me, I know that your faith will never be shattered. But, for a very few, they wake up and realize the spell they have been under. I know, because this happened to me. I used to be a Christian, just like you. I called myself born again, walked to the front of two churches to proclaim my love for Jesus and I was very sincere. But I grew up and now I am saddened for people like you. People who can't see how they have been conned and how they are controlled. Bottom line is this...it does no one any good to believe in fairy tales. There comes that time when you have to grow up. I know it is comforting to cling to the idea of a savior and everlasting life and seeing all your dead friends and relatives again, but it isn't true. As an adult, you should be required to accept your own mortality and be happy with the life you have been given. I agree it is no good to believe in fairy tales..
