Nah. The school principal -- in the wake of such a horrific event -- has MUCH more important things to do (related to children and their parents, teachers, as well as the school in general) than rush to alert local news.

More than likely the media knew of this event ASAP because they typically monitor LE calls. They likely sought her out rather than the other way around.

That is, of course, ASSuming that the principal was even alive long enough to do any of the above. At this point, with all of this disinfo flying around, it's anyone's guess. My gut says that this never happened.

As of now, there is no knowledge of what exactly he was laughing about, but after listening to the audio a few times, it is evident that it was indeed laughter. Monsignor Weiss probably wasn't laughing at the shooting, but it still was one of the most inappropriate and awkward times for it to happen.
