Dead Principal Who Gave Statement -- Screen Capture | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 27972246 United States 12/17/2012 05:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey fucking geniuses. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4394822 In a rush to get news out on 24 hour news cycles, people are careless and make mistakes. Some reporter manically scribbled down notes and confused whomever they interviewed with another name on a scratchpad. Amazing how callous and ignorant you can be. In your twisted minds, everything has to be an elaborate conspiracy. Guess what - it's just bad reporting. If we didn't insist on getting news out first, rather than correctly, this wouldn't happen. But cut the bullshit about these crackpot theories. It's simply nuts and disrespectful to the greiving families dealing with a little thing called reality. The Emotional appeal of outside peoples discussing such things with other outside peoples is the first type of thing that a sound Jury, all 12 of them, will toss to the side by the end of the first day of deliberation. Just the facts presented, the cold hard, facts presented. It would be far more disrespectful not to have discussion in efforts to get to the truth. The most disrespectful people(s) to these families were the shooter(s). |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8625642 It doesn't mean that, it expects you to BELIEVE it. Exactly. Let's keep this clear. No one is buying their retraction. But AC 8625642 believes that someone was impersonating the principal. LMAO!! |

Hahahahaha User ID: 28872856 United States 12/17/2012 05:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Help yourself. It's obvious to me that they are lying, no one impersonates a principal in a helter skelter situation like that. The story is 100% unbelievable. Quoting: New Age Messiah Exactly. There's no reason to do such a thing. There were no confirmed names of the dead at the time, so it's not like it was just someone playing a sick joke. The public didn't even know she was dead yet. I think the principal did something very reasonable: She alerted the local news as to what happened at the school right after it happened. Nah. The school principal -- in the wake of such a horrific event -- has MUCH more important things to do (related to children and their parents, teachers, as well as the school in general) than rush to alert local news. More than likely the media knew of this event ASAP because they typically monitor LE calls. They likely sought her out rather than the other way around. That is, of course, ASSuming that the principal was even alive long enough to do any of the above. At this point, with all of this disinfo flying around, it's anyone's guess. My gut says that this never happened. |

Quoting: Evil Cretin If it happened as reported, one might consider that she was part of it, no? I don't believe for a second that the retraction is true, they are lying. Sheep the moon |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 9977516 Australia 12/17/2012 05:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OMG it seems if it was a mistake they would have at least issued a statement. Even my shitty local newspapers issue notices when they have made a mistake. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30138189 I know. But, I wouldn't have believed any excuse they gave anyway, at this point. When you take a statement you ask for the person's name. I once worked at a newspaper. That's how it works. Yet they aren't curious to even identify the woman who was IMPERSONATING THE PRINCIPAL? Who is this woman? Why did she make this statement and say she was the Principal if she wasn't? Very strange indeed. Probably ANOTHER ACTOR..... |

"Superintendent of Schools Janet Robinson said the schools were placed on lockdown Friday morning, "until we hear what is going on there." But the principal had more important things to do while the police and first responders were evacuating the school? Uhm, ok. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 22896601 United Kingdom 12/17/2012 05:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | FFS, The Newton BeeCap obviously never interviewed anyone at all and just made it up in order to seem like one of the few privilaged to get an interview. Do you think with all the worldwide media players focussing on this, anyone from the school interviewed with this pissy little news group? This backfired massively. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 30136417 United States 12/17/2012 05:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It appears the Newtown Bee has pulled their story directly quoting principal Dawn Hochsprung after the attack. (She was later reported as one of the first who was murdered.) Here is a link to a screen capture of that article for anyone interested in saving it: Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28535621 [link to imageshack.us] Alive and well. "Sandy Hook School Principal Dawn Hochsprung told The Bee that a masked man entered the school with a rifle and started shooting multiple shows – more than she could count – that went "on and on." [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] One of the first murdered. "An open intercom broadcast the murder of school principal Dawn Hochsprung, 47, to terrified students at Sandy Hook Elementary School providing teachers and students with vital time to run and hide." The article originally ran at this web address: [link to newtownbee.com] Wow, excellent catch, OP! Glad to see a non-shill on the job. We need to keep on this, for the sake of our country, and the world. These sickos are trying to pull the wool over EVERYONE'S eyes. There ARE no dead children, and this entire thing is a disgusting hoax! |

He was asked how things happened at his school. “Monsignor Weiss: "We were located...we were notified through the alarm system that's in our town through the school system," Monsignor Weiss began. "Our children were actually at mass so we kept them in church for quite a while and then sent them over to our hall where they are still in one group. So now...we are just awaiting...word from the officials on what we should do from here. I'm more concerned about the...the... (laughter)" MSNBC: "Monsignor..." Monsignor Weiss: "(laughter)" MSNBC: "Monsignor...?" Monsignor Weiss: "...(laughter)...more concerned about the parents waiting to find out what happened to their children (stifling laughter)." As of now, there is no knowledge of what exactly he was laughing about, but after listening to the audio a few times, it is evident that it was indeed laughter. Monsignor Weiss probably wasn't laughing at the shooting, but it still was one of the most inappropriate and awkward times for it to happen. |
