Anaiah User ID: 20652506 United States 12/23/2012 08:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Instant wheat pancake mix. Mix in the zest of a blood orange. Microwave a cup of blackberry syrup, a tablespoon of butter, and the juice of half a blood orange, or bring it to a boil on the stovetop and reduce it down as the pancakes cook. Once each pancake is done, lightly drizzle it with the syrup mixture. If you add 2 tbsp sugar to the pancake mix, it takes on a slightly cake like texture. If you make the mix thinner, you can make thin pancakes, even as thin as crepes. The orange zest is just really nice and light and fruity, and the syrup mixture cuts down on butter as that much syrup would be enough to feed four, while still making them buttery. As above, So below. |

Get them from GNC in a bag. Luisport turned me on to chia seeds! You can get them both from GNC for about 8$ a bag. The chia seeds really have no taste so I mix them with the hemp seeds. Makes a great snack and helps to kill the munchies. Ignorance is bliss until reality bites you in the ass. I take care of the dead...always. |

Laura Bow User ID: 1158661 United States 12/23/2012 09:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So, like many of you, i've cut nearly all processed foods, sugars, and anything that's harmful out of my diet, but sometimes I hit walls when trying to find something to eat. So out of curiosity, I thought it'd be a good idea if we all composed a list of healthy alternative foods that we use/eat. Quoting: Ropav 20319056 Thing's I use/eat on a daily basis - Buckwheat Flour - Coconut Flour - Eggs, Free Range - Coconut Milk - Whey Protein -Tree Nuts - Fruits, try to limit myself to no more than 2 a day - Berkley water filter - Fluoride filters - Spinach - Mushrooms - Coconut Oil I love making banana bread w/ walnuts (sometimes making it in the microwave when wanting to make quick work of it), spinach and mushroom omelets. Pretty much everyday lol, hence making this thread. Now this isn't everything i eat, but they are go-to foods, I'm looking to expand and add more quick meals with the help of you guys, and perhaps we can compile, a safe and healthy list of basic foods with some recipes. You sound like you eat similar to me, though I do not eat Buckwheat or much fruit because I lower carb. Don't forget apple cider vinegar! |

But, I try. C'est la vie. |
