Gun owners trying to make a huge profit off other gun buyers!!!
So has anyone else noticed, that private gun sellers are trying to butt rape their fellow gun buyers by asking 3-5 times the actual value of any gun that maybe even considered tactical .
For instance, on a very popular gun trading site AR-15s that were selling at $600 last week now are being privately offered at $2,000 to start. Cheap Ak-47s that go for $350-$400 are selling at above the $950 range .
And one stooge even has posted a box of 250 pmags that normally sell for around $12-15 a piece for $1,000,000 for the case and says he won't split the case up lmao- seriously people we are screwing ourselves more than this administration could ever do.
Hint people, don't pay the inflated prices and let these a--holes choke on their weapons and mags. Ar's are nice, but not that friggin nice.

supply and demand my friend, if someone is willing to pay that price, it doesn't really matter how much it took to manufacture a pMag

Even gun stores are now selling pmags for $60 a piece and the Vietnam era metal mags normally $8 dollars for $30 and higher. Guess the government remembered the rush last time a gun ban was threatened and are using the lame stream media to push the fear factor to unprecedented levels. What a plan we the gun owners are creating this perfect storm of too much demand and a limited supply= no gun for you!!!

Supply and demand I get , selling pmags for $4,000 a piece or a new rifle you bought for $ 600 on Friday for $2,500 the next, just butt raping the little guy the american way! Funny how we want to stone the gas station owner who does this with gasoline and ice during or after a storm. Pathetic double standard.

Re: Gun owners trying to make a huge profit off other gun buyers!!!
Here's the real shit storm of it. The dumb asses have emptied the shelves at a time when the manufacturers are slowing production, waiting to see what the new rules will be. No AR maker is going to keep production at full speed ahead if the guns they make may not be sellable due to new laws. What would they do with 2000 partially manufactured AR's? So they have actually slowed manufacturing so they don't lose their asses if these guns are outlawed again.

what this means is that there is no inventory to re-supply those empty shelves! In other words' now the gun stores are cleaned out and can't get new inventory to re-fill their shelves. Right now they're looking at a wad of cash and no inventory and are being told 30-90 days to get new guns.. Guess how many gun shops will go out of business over the next 30-90 days?

Ruger had already stopped taking new orders because they couldn't keep up with demand, now it will take years for them to catch up. But with the prospect of losing millions in partially assembled and now illegal AR's they are in no hurry to boost production.

the gunnies screwed themselves by 1) buying all inventory in the US and hoarding it, and 2) making themselves look like the lunatics the left claims they are.

my opinion may be biased because I was told in november that I would be receiving a year end bonus and my plan was to buy my first AR with the money.. Now I can't because they're too expensive and there are now no magazines or bullets either. So society screwed me.

It depends on the ammo manufacturer and bullet type . Good lake city ammo is on average about $600 per 1000 rounds of military grade m855 . I wouldn't have payed more than though. I was smart and bought an ak chambered in 5.56 so it can even eat the nasty comm bloc wolf ammo with out even a burp.

$.60 a round. Yes, they normally go for $.27 - $.32 a round. And buying in bulk like that usually means $.23 a round.

a month ago you would have spent $250 for that same case.

but you can now turn around and sell the case for $1000 if you want, so I guess you actually made out like a bandit.

the only case lots of bulk .223 are the steel cased tula crap (or the wolf) I think you paid waaaaay too much steel case used to go gor .20/rd.

Steel cased ammo WILL accelerate wear and tear on your chamber and especially the extractor. 2000 rds of steel will total your extractor- that's if you can shoot that many before the cases start getting stuck real bad in the chamber)

No one is putting a gun to anyone's head and forcing them to buy an AR or AK. It is a free, honest transaction if the gun is sold at any price. When demand outstrips supply, the only way to guarantee a fast restocking is to allow the price point to float.

If you put in price controls, you will ensure that there will be no AR's at any price.

Look in Walmart or anywhere that sells the value packs. They are still out there. I bought 400 rounds for 200 bucks. Threw them in an ammo can and gonna forget about them.

What's the problem OP? Market value always fluctuates especially with private individuals.

Gun sales are a lot like this board prices rises and fall with the paranoia and right now paranoia is high.

That is one side of the coin my friend! It sucks, I agree! However, there are still plenty of SKS's on the market at reasonable prices! Get one (really fun to shoot - good hunting rifle too) buy a new stock from TAPKO and know that you have a quality multi purpose (FUN) rifle!

Cheers

Bullshit. FMJ ammo on special was about 250 a case.

Trin bought Hollow point ammo, which is always .75 cents to 1.50 per round easy.

Look up the price of 75 gr TAP ammo from a year ago, or the Federal Gold match HP ammo before you come here with your BS.
