Seems to me our little battle with Europe a couple hundred years ago was over taxes so I find this to be a bit ludicrous. A patriot is most concerned with taxes?

Taxes are a necessary evil, but this seems to me like a campaign to keep the coffers full from the work of citizens, and not from the vaults of the mega corporations.

Even after seeing their “dear leader obama” give the victims of Hurricane Sandy all types of promises of help flowing their way and they ended up with empty promises.

That has been going on for decades. How come not many complained during Clinton and Bush administration? Obama is not much different.

By the time you add up all the god damn taxes, we pay more than socialist countries.

You know if Australia they have a top EFFECTIVE tax rate of just under 45% for their highest earners and they have no property taxes either. Here in the US, we have 39% marginal rate for top earners for federal taxes, plus payroll tax, plus state income taxes in a place like California for 13%, plus state sales tax (VAT), plus property tax, plus gasoline tax and then some of us have to buy our own health insurance....We pay more in terms of taxes than any socialist country and then we don't even get universal healthcare. I'm not a proponent of universal healthcare, but just look at how much better off citizens in other countries are. So the Aussies pay less in taxes than Americans and get healthcare covered by their taxes.

And if any of you like the cold, Russia only has a 13% flat income tax and some small taxes on top of that. The point is, you'll keep much, much more of your income if you live in Russia.

In the ass backwards world of today, a patriot is someone who doesn't stand up for their beliefs, doesn't question authority and just takes it up his fucking ass.

Funny, I seem to remember back when Michael Moore and all the far-left, liberal people prominent in the media were vehemently arguing against Iraq, Afghanistan, and calling "W" an idiot, moran.....

I think the government,via the msm is intentionally provoking real American patriots into rage and eventually violence.

The msm has the anti-patriot rhetoric at about an 8 right now, and Obama is about to be given orders from the owners of the central banking system (fed res) to crank it up to 11...

Government is just a corporation but one which forces the citizenry to buy their products or else sends them to jail. I much rather to take a risk with a true free market, at least corporations in the free market can be brought down if what they offer is not desirable.
