Exactly. If we euthanize animals because we don't want to continuing their suffering, human beings should have the same choice - instead of resorting to blotched and inhumane efforts such as drugs and gunshot.

That is true freedom - the right to a peaceful death.

i think its not that they would go blind at the same time.
i also think that both men already having eyeproblems wich would cause blindness in within a relative short timespan. 1 mabey sooner than the other but not for long i guess.

I've always thought that doctors should have the choice to assist people who have decided they want to die.

True, and they could learn sign language for the deaf/blind. You do the signs in each other's hands. I have been around people who do this and they have a good time and laugh. These brothers had each other and could have met other's in the deaf community who would have loved to help them to cope and have a full life. And when you lose one or more senses others become more prominent. Like when it is dark and your hearing is more acute. Who knows what other senses would have taken over being both deaf and blind. I suppose we could find out from other's who are like this. Where there is a will there is always a way. Life definitely becomes more simpler.

Our brains are so awesome. Too bad these brothers checked out before really discovering how interesting life could get. Just imagine how heightened the other senses would get when two are lost.

Id try to die also if I were blind and deaf. That would be like living in hell.

It isn't up to me to judge anyone for their actions, as long as they don't affect other people negatively.

these men ending their own lives is a personal choice, and not anything that anyone else should allow themselves and opinion on. Even if it is hard to do.
