if a group of people were outside my place of business causing trouble, yelling, loitering, obstructing entry for my customers, then i have a right to put a stop to it. plain and simple. whether its with security personnel or the po-po

you do not have the right to assualt someone, unless you are defending yourself.

my only point is the security officer did not diffuse the situation and instead agitated it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33175464

you are more than a little confused, or completely deluded. not sure which
 Quoting: Salt

you are getting to caught up in your bias against the people, their appearance and choice of language.

seperate all that out and ask, was the security officer not taking advantage of a situation for his video camera?

did he not post it to the site, known for that kind of footage?

or was he concerned with diffusing the situation for the protection of the store and the customers?

the answer is clear.

why did the security guard follow them out of the building onto the street with a camera if not to provoke an obvious hostile group?

they left the store and were on public property, were they had every right to call the guy a fag or whatever they wanted to call him. ever heard of freedom of speech?

he had plenty of opportunity to leave and did so a couple of times, only to return back to keep the drama going.

Im sorry your a stupid fag yourself.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33175464

Your ignorance is just amazing. He's a security guard... he was guarding the entrance of the building. She provoked the tazer when she attacked him. Did you not see her attack or am I just blind?
 Quoting: Dr. Manhattan

sure she attacked at the end, but he had no right in filming them and building the drama on public property.

thats not very good security work, he was working.

he could have simply diffused the situation and walking back inside to call the police, since they were on the sidewalk, which is the citys responsibility.

but he didnt really want it diffused did he?

he had the camera rolling.

I can guarantee if the security company is worth a damn, he will be fired.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33175464

He has every right to film what ever he pleases. That is the freedom of America. Diffusing a situation by just walking away does not work when you are trying to guard a door. People always like to get the last word in and if you do not guard that door the chance they will come back in is 100% higher.

She attacked... he defended case closed. How an you defend such an act. It just sounds like you are making excuses.

464 - watch the video again. I think you're hung up on one certain aspect and not looking at the entire thing.

The "shop" owns the sidewalk in front of the store all the way to the street. If you don't believe me, look at property tax records for businesses in downtown areas.

Second, the security officer is wearing a piece of equipment that many security companies require. All movements and words of the officer are recorded to avoid wrongful prosecution of the company the guard works for. He wasn't filming it to see how people would react if he did or said A, B, or C.

Thirdly, we don't know why those women were tossed out of the store unless you can translate that babble for me so I can understand what is being said beyond fuck you and you're gay. Can't put a puzzle together without all of the pieces.

and lastly, did you miss the part in the video where she walked INTO the store and attacked his person?

I'd zap your ass too if you came at me like that. Her inability to control her emotions and behavior is just abnormal. There was no reason for her to get violent. She threw a temper tantrum over some piddly little shit thing, acted like a complete idiot, and got her ass handed to her. My only regret is that those children may be too far gone to understand why their mother was wrong. Who talks like that around their children, for the love of Mike!

A lack of understanding here of the law.

She assaulted him repeatedly with terroristic threats. That is Assault. Her threat to do bodily harm. All he said to the kids was "Hey!"

Then when she bumped him she repeatedly committed battery. In fact he had every right to throw a right cross and lay her on the ground the moment she committed battery.

You need to understand the law. He had as much right to the freedom of speech to yell "Hey" as she did to yell at him. He had as much right to be out on the street as she did. But what she did not have the right to do was to assault him.

Even in that situation, that's pretty shitty that your security team gets dismissed from their job for defending themselves. The spoiled kids rich daddy suing is just another flaw in the court systems these days, which cost you money.

He can't win, because your guard would justified in defending himself, but it would cost you money/time. Something seriously wrong with that.

Wow you are ignorant!

In law, assault is a crime that involves causing a victim to apprehend violence. The term is often confused with battery, which involves physical contact. The specific meaning of assault varies between countries, but can refer to an act that causes another to apprehend immediate and personal violence, or in the more limited sense of a threat of violence caused by an immediate show of force.[1][2] Assault in some US jurisdictions[which?] is defined more broadly still as any intentional physical contact with another person without their consent; but in the majority of the United States, and in England and Wales and all other common law jurisdictions in the world, this is defined instead as battery. Some jurisdictions have incorporated the definition of civil assault into the definition of the crime making it a criminal assault to intentionally cause another person to apprehend a harmful or offensive contact.

Does it effect business negatively? If not, then I see no issue with posting the video. I would not fire someone from my own business unless it negatively impacted my business. Then you enhance your rules and protocols for what ever caused the negative impact. That's me though.

If it effected the business negatively I can see where firing the employee would be a good solution. That is up to the owner to decide, not for us.

Legally the man had every right to do what he did, but from the owners point of view he may have handled procedures incorrectly.

This is not a nightclub with 350 lbs bouncers and rich spoiled kids.

 Quoting: Dr. Manhattan

it isnt about ego,

the job is for the facility and the business

not to submit for internet fame.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33175464

Does it effect business negatively? If not, then I see no issue with posting the video. I would not fire someone from my own business unless it negatively impacted my business. Then you enhance your rules and protocols for what ever caused the negative impact. That's me though.

If it effected the business negatively I can see where firing the employee would be a good solution. That is up to the owner to decide, not for us.

Legally the man had every right to do what he did, but from the owners point of view he may have handled procedures incorrectly.
 Quoting: Dr. Manhattan

the mere fact that the guard was laughing and filming and subsequently submitted the film to that site, tells me the guard was taking advantage of the situation for himself and not the business or the well-being of others.

I will be shocked if he is not fired and the owner offers a apology to the community.

She got exactly what she deserved.

verbal assault?

too funny
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33175464

Interesting how that escalated from nothing.
That black guy shows clearly why there will NEVER be true peace between blacks and whites.

He thinks society and the white man owes him something.

Sick.

You are full of shit. Almost all Blacks were field labourers, they picked cotton and did simple, no brain, "work". The problem was that their cash value was far higher than their intrinsic worth. My family had slaves, for dangerous or complex work we hired Whites to do the projects. Blacks would either screw it up or get hurt, then they were totally useless but you had to feed and house them for the rest of their lives.

^^^^^

"...still enjoying...country which was built...from slave labor..."

WRONG.

Beginning in the 1500s MY 'ancestral families' ON BOTH my MOTHER and FATHER'S SIDES, "built:"

NOVA SCOTIA, NEW BRUNSWICK, QUEBEC, MONTREAL, TROIS RIVIERES, MAINE, BOSTON...PLATTSBURG, BURLINGTON, DARBY, BEEBE, LEBANON, SYRACUSE, ROCHESTER...EVERY TOWN...EVERY VILLAGE...EVERY FARM...EVERY INDUSTRY...EVERY COMMERCE...EVERY ROAD...EVERY GARMENT DISTRICT...EVERY MILL...EVERY GRAINERY...EVERY MARKET...EVERY APPAREL STORE... EVERY SCHOOL...EVERY COLLEGE...EVERY HOSPITAL...EVERY LODGE...EVERY FACTORY...EVERY WAREHOUSE...EVERY RAILROAD...EVERY CHURCH...EVERY SYNOGOGUE...EVERY LAW OFFICE...EVERY COURTHOUSE...EVERY METROPOLIS...EVERY ART GALLERY...EVERY SKI RESORT...EVERY MANSION...EVERY SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF...EVERY MARINA...EVERY RESTAURANT... you name it...'WE' BUILT IT., with nan a black person in sight. In fact, MOST of the whole northeastern U.S. was BUILT BY these "founding" NATIONS.
They intermarried mostly into their own families for the first SEVERAL HUNDRED YEARS...later they married into IRISH FAMILIES.

They "intermarried" with the FIRST NATIONS . . .

. . . . FROM DAY ONE . . . in the 1500s . . .

These 'founding nations' I am speaking of, were:

Sephardic- Hebrew/Portuguese/French Families

There were NO BLACKS.
STOP TELLING THAT BALD FACE LIE.

MY PEOPLE 'BUILT IT.'

AND they CONTINUED TO BUILD THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WITHOUT 'BLACK SLAVE LABOR' clear across the St. Lawrence Seaway on BOTH the U.S. and CANADIAN SIDES OF THE BORDER.

THERE WERE NO BLACKS.

These robust, brave, smart, handsome and beautiful DARK TAN people with mostly (but not always) BLACK HAIR & BLUE & GREEN & AMBER & BROWN & HAZEL & LIGHT EYES, continued BUILDING THE WHOLE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE WESTWARDS ALL THE WAY TO THE PACIFIC OCEAN.

The ONLY "SO CALLED" RACE OF 'COLOR' THEY INTERMARRIED WITH, WERE INDIANS. THERE WERE NO BLACKS INVOLVED IN ANY FORM SHAPE OR FASHION.

After the SOUTHERN "SLAVES" were freed, and the so called 'underground railroad' movement began, MY ANCESTORS "HELPED" BLACK PEOPLE COME TO THE NORTH TO ESCAPE SLAVERY.

My/These FOUNDING NATIONS = my 'family trees' includes:

Levy, Habraham, Solomon, DeCosta, Gelinas,

Berthomeu, DaSilva, Labarre, Lopez, Garcia

Ezra, Barzilay, Provencal, Vizena, Moyse,

Rodrigue, Barzillon, D'Aragon, D'Avignon

DeLima, Saracen, LaRochelle, Leveseque,

Pino, D'Arabi, Mohamet, Gabriel, Zecharie,

Manuel, Benjamin, Jacobs, Eleazer, Eli,

Gomes, Carcassone, Raphael, Simon, DeLeon

(and many, many other 'old' Sephardic-French families)

YOU ARE
DISMISSED.

Atlanta is the shit hole of Georgia. If that place got nuked I wouldn't shed one tear. I can't even go down there without some black guy trying to tell me to park "right over hur cause itz free" so he can break into my car later. O and the amount of homeless black people who ask for my money is just ridiculous.

I'm not racist, but every time I come out of Atlanta I become a racist.
 Quoting: Dr. Manhattan

It was once a great city, wasn't it? I am not familiar with it, but that's what I have heard.
 Quoting: nutmeg

Yes it once was a great city with great morals and hard working people. If you go out on the edges of the rural and suburb area you will find some of the nicest and hardworking people you will ever meet.

They are forced to move out further and further as the disease spreads further. And as the disease spreads the area engulfed begins to looks like shit.

I have seen this happen since I was a little kid and declare anyone who does not think it is race base to see what I have seen here in the suburbs of Georgia.

Are there a lot of good black people who live in Georgia? Of course, but I can not help but watch as the black plague grows the area effected depreciates in quality.

It's really sad.
 Quoting: Dr. Manhattan

^^ this ^^. See it myself where I live. Areas on the outskirts in Indianapolis 20 years ago were corn fields. Now they are subdivisions, restaurants, shopping centers. More and more the corn fields turn into communities as the white people have to move further out to get away from the ever growing jungle.

Hmm, I still wonder to this day why Africa isn't the most prosperous nation on earth, I mean I understand the resources aren't all there but damn they were the first humans, wouldn't Africans of then built the most stuff by now?

Not being racist just a ponder I have.
