Well for starters we abandon the money system entirely. We make sure that everyone has a home and food and then all the free education they can learn. At this point we do like star trek. We have a society where people live and learn to be badass and then they go on to be professional badasses at whatever subject they like, then we just try to make everything as good as it can be. use all the best technology to make robots to automate all the dull jobs that nobody wants to do and get everybody competent at life.

Education is important, we need to teach people how to think and learn rapidly and then just give them acess to all the possible information. we need to do away with concepts of digital intellectual property and simply share all the information as freely and openly as possible.

we can use the internet to have a system of government that isnt a government at all. It would be like a direct democracy where everybody collaborates on a forum to share resources and services with each other to accomplish goals instead of for money. We do things because they need to be done and by doing them make things better. We can finally rebuild the infrastructure and the industrial sector because money will not be an issue anymore. It wont be a motivator for progress or a suppressser of progress.

First, how does one define advancement human race? What first came to mind for me was space exploration and the ability to sustain and grow a human presence in space. I see a greater focus in time, money, resources, research, and development in areas that can help realize this goal as a way to advance humanity.

I agree. The problem is unification and centralisation.

When Indians were first discovered in America did the indians have prisons, large Police forces, rampant crime? No they did not. They lived in small communities.

Even today, here in the UK we have tiny villages (less than a few dozen residents) and crime is almost non-existant. Residents look after each other because they are close-knit communities.

Community issues should be addressed at a community level. Each person within that community having a voice.

We need to de-centralise, not expand centralisation.

In case anyone gets the wrong idea I am agnostic (an atheist that believes in infinity) and apolitical (I outright reject left and right. Up is freedom, down is slavery, take your pick, with wisdom if possible).

But, as much as I agree, the totalitarians will not allow a 'belief' vacuum, hence, all the new age initiatives (many of which were followed by Hitler?? - Godwins Law be damned) to replace religion.

Just like 'religion' these followers do not truely understand critical thought (nor do I but I'm further along the road than they I hope, simply for the sheer fact that I can see it) and that they are the new fascists.

It took me a long time to reconcile the fact that these 'progressives' think that making laws to ban as much as possible that 'offends' them cannot see the paradox of what they preach.

It hurts more due to the fact that I believe in much of what they are trying to achieve but without recognising the trap they have found themselves ensnared within (kudos to the PTB for their perfect loop as much as it pains me).

But you are correct as far as the human condition allows us to think for ourselves, co-operate and simply let and let live without ruining that which sustains us.

I think the thing that disappoints me most is that this is not the human civilisation that will coplonise the universe (for better or worse for the universe but that is most likely the point). Hopefully the next cycle. The evidence so far does not fill me with hope even a further 26,000 years down the track.
