Article doesn't say except "For now, it’s all-weather, all-season clothing for men, ranging from headgear, footwear, jackets, coats and shirts," Betts explained. But they hope to launch a line for women." But no age reference although they mention iPhone plug-in for their jacket so it seems they are at least targeting the Social media group. |

Taxpayer bears risk of foray into totally none related business. Or, maybe by 2014 the FED will be no more. Will the insanity never end. Roy Betts bets your money. Here is the kicker maybe: minority business gets shoe-in opportunity at taxpayer expense. And, just happens to be related to one or more politicians. lizard king |

U.S. Postal Service? The cash-strapped Postal Service announced Tuesday that it has inked a licensing deal with an Ohio-based clothing company to produce a line of apparel dubbed “Rain Heat & Snow.” The attire aims to reach well beyond T-shirts and baseball caps to include “wearable electronics”—like jackets with iPod controls built into the sleeve, USPS spokesman Roy Betts explained to Yahoo News. Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 34317661 United States 02/20/2013 12:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What really gets me is this statement. "We're a postal service that recognizes that our business model has to change, we’ve got to be more innovative with the products that we bring to market," the spokesman said." What in his mind could let him think that if they can't handle the mail, they are somehow qualified to take on another business model- a retail one at that. They and hence us, are truly fucked when people have the gall to believe this shit. He is a patsy and another example of why we are in the condition we are. |

I fail to see how paying workers for Sunday will save money...and they wonder why they are going broke. It won't but I bet they're banking on double time pay. The whole thing was a rouse for more freebies. Their hands are in the cookie jar. |
leonine User ID: 12569974 United States 02/20/2013 12:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I get the feeling that the postal service is like all the other federal institutions in that bankruptcy is the plan from the get-go. I never could figure out how a semi-monopoly could have financial difficulties. Lets raise rates only a penny on mail so we loose money this year. Then, penny again, lose again. They could've raised it a damn nickle the first time, and not be in this mess. Like I said, looks planned. lizard king |

It goes: Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. But I don't think its a bad idea really. Empty headed celebrities do it all the time with success. I just think clothing is way overpriced and hopefully it will be reasonably priced. Probably not. |

The Chinese may initially find the quality of our garments lacking, but, given time, we will prevail. Kinda miss the made in USA label. Can't say I'm looking forward to working in a textile factory though. Damn compounding interest!!! lizard king |
