OP, in all honesty, I can't agree with your post enough. I do though believe you should take the time to defend your post. It makes for a deeper discussion and a way of attracting more eyeballs to your needed message. Just my take on it.

If you make any prophecy and it doesn't come true, your word is absolute garbage.

I made my only one prophecy in 08' that the economy would crash in October. I was right and people still were mad as hell at me. I learned my lesson right there. At least that was somewhat small potatoes.

The best is how many people on GLP actually think they are "the" God. As if all of Infinity is god-less currently because he is only residing on Earth. That one always cracks me up and a couple people come to mind right off the bat.

I think that society purposefully conditions people to believe that they are the chosen one, or the messiah. It diffuses a lot of tense energy people feel with god/religion.

It keeps people from understanding the truth, and makes them easily susceptible to religious dogma.

Furthermore, it can be argued it is blasphemous if you cannot live your life in perfect sinless form. Sinning against yourself is just as problematic as sinning against others.

I believe that Christ was an archetype. A form any man or woman can embody and bring forth into the planet, but in order for that to happen, this person has to attain physical, intellectual, and spiritual perfection.

Well said. Definitely a feeling that I have been considering for a while. I came to the conclusion that it was dark side thought manipulation obfuscating one's own thoughts.

One particular person comes to mind who in the beginning was a clear and accurate bringer of information, energy, and experience who suddenly turned into a self-proclaimed savior. That if you don't listen to him, you will burn for it.

It's not the only time I have seen it but probably the most relevant personally.

In the end it's no matter. This whole thing doesn't have a long way to go now. (That is not me making a prophecy either ha) The truth is coming out now more and more each moment and all false prophets will be exposed when it is all said and done.

Many people stray from the course of humility and eventually embody the pride/ego associated with being learned/wise, etc... it is vital to human progress for the wise to be free from ego... if you look at our society.. it is ego which dominates.

The whole capitalist construct is ego based, personal reward based, and has very little to do with community. Humanity suffers form so many ills, it's unreal.. we are a sick people.. our economy is sick.. our processes are sick... healing can only come from within us as individuals.

And a true prohet would not get all upset if no one listened to them. They would say what they have to say and not get all wound up about a lack of attention or getting bumped away to the last page all the time while the fake ones who love to spread fear and blackmail and threats clamour for attention and insist people hear them or face certain doom.

They brag about how people will regret not heeding them..how they will find out too late how "Accurate" they were.

No humility..wanting ONLY to be seen and heard by people and blow their own trumpet.

The Lord knows His sheep and they listen and are humble and reach out with LOVE to people and dont make a huge "Look at ME everyone..im a great prophet!@ heed me or die" garbage.

Thats slefishness and inspired by religios spirits, who like to call themselves christian, but in fact drive people away from the Lord in droves because people are sick of their hypocrisy. Satans greatest strategy is to make christians out to be selfish, hate filled, fear instilling, selfish, egocentric, holier than thou, arrogant bigots..and most of them dance to his tune and become just that.

Driving people away from the ONLY One who can LOVE them and HEAL them.

Satan HATES it when a broken heart gets healed..so he uses the very ones who CLAIM the name of the lord to see to it that it rarely happens..FEAR does not fix a broken heart..it shatters it more..along with a good dash of guilt and shame and terror..all works of darkness.

I agree we should not fear and if you have true faith, you will not fear. I agree in always pointing to Jesus Christ,who is the revelation of God, and telling people to be honest with Him and seek Him out. However, I think anyone who denies The Holy Spirit is merely religious, and probably believes the once saved always saved don't need to walk the road crap. God does speak to us, same yesterday today and forever. People changed, not God. Will He find faith??? But obviously not everyone who claims to have had a revelation did

Many great scholars agree that man suffers from a lot of self delusion. Even visions and dreams can be completely psychosomatic. There is a test however. If you are a person of love, humility, and service to others.. if you are honest, and take care of your mind and body.. your visions/dreams are true. If you have secrets in the closet, unresolved conflicts within, judgment and hatred of others.. than scholars agree you should not trust your visions or dreams, no matter how profound they may seem. There is only one path to god, and it is through truth, and the self. God in essence is the absence of all lies.
