We were talking a few days ago while playing some pick-up hockey. He said the Q.E. "program" in the U.S. is coming to an end, and it could cause a big down in the U.S., which would in turn, cause a world wide down turn. The way he explained it was something like this: If you take large wet logs and try to start a fire with no paper, twigs, etc... just using a book of matches, the only fire you'll ever have is from the matches themselves. Once they are gone, so is your fire. He said Q.E. is the match book. I (being a closet DOOM guy outside of GLP) thought this was quite interesting, but never thought much more about it until this morning when I heard about the futures markets. Food for thought. Maybe, I doubt it.. BUT if the Fed decides it will stop it's money printing it's game over The market is shit today but the price on silver and gold is dropping free fall, What are they trying to hide?
