You are probably right, there will be. And it probably is too unsafe...but not even an attempt at some kind of representation? A blurry shot from one of those crane camera's? Or pix of the crane cameras going in? Or a graphic depiction?

That is a very good point. I hate the way so many use content of similar situations....it's a powerful subliminal tool that tricks our mind into accepting this as reality, even when we consciously know it isn't.

Sending a control remote toy car with an attached camera back and forth is easy as hell... rather than wasting time in long bore speaking of authorities giving no new information or prove... Imagine if that man is still alive floating... How the hell is that not a single rescuer attached to a heavy car with a strong cord try to enter the hole?

I can't imagine that there won't be something to look at either tomorrow or Monday.
But they are sitting on one heck of a situation that will be fascinating to see.

A sinkhole near Orlando grew to 400 feet across in 1981 and devoured five sports cars, most of two businesses, a three-bedroom house and the deep end of an Olympic-size swimming pool.

More than 500 sinkholes have been reported in Hillsborough County alone since the government started keeping track in 1954, according to the state's environmental agency.

On Saturday, engineers from local firm Bracken Engineering used hydraulic drills to probe the ground around the Seffner home, Damico said. Workers initially used radar to try to determine the ground's density but switched to the more sophisticated hydraulic probes, she said. So far, they're finding a spreading sinkhole that could potentially swallow more homes.

I only live 20 minutes from the sink hole. Maybe I will grab my camera and take a Sunday morning drive. Does anyone have an address or precise location? This might be fun.

Right. We've seen videos of rescue people and volunteers pulling people out of quicksand at the beach and roaring flooding water... Is this situation different?

From what I understand the cement slab under the bedroom cracked and broke up because of no support, but the rest of the house is still standing... for now.....

Yup. The sinkhole is inside the house. Maybe this is the cause for the absence of photos.

I'm still struggling to make the connection between this story and Obama. Somehow I feel he's behind it all.
