Why do Jehovah's Witnesses continue to preach door to door and in other ways? And what do you think of them?

i have heard so many stories about people chasing them off property with a shotgun. i think they have learnt to stay away if people say so. :)

Do they teach that jesus is god? If not they are anti-christ who deny the father and son.

I think they are MUCH more dedicated than I will ever be. I tried door to door sales once. The poor foot soldiers for the church do it FOR FREE, I think. I wouldn't be one. I would prefer a lazier church lol

it seems they would get more done as far as witnessing and spreading the word on the internet. I grew up a JW. and I always thought to myself,that they are wasting time driving around to empty houses all day long witnessing to the dogs at home.

Most people don't even answer the door. Gas is expensive these days. They make little old ladies in their 70's and up feel quilty they don't get many hours out in service to report.

My mother thinks these works will get her into paradise,and it has heaped a huge burden on her. She has to make the meetings,or they show up at her home and tell her she is missing too many meetings,and will lose out on life.

I think they really love our Lord.
