While the President should be keeping the issue of national security at the forefront of his mind, it's refreshing to think that in his second term Barack Obama is still focusing on the rights of the people. With legislation involving the internet having far more support among Republicans than Democrats I would not be surprised if the House waited a few more years before reattempting this legislation in the hopes that the odds will be more in their favor. Of course at the same time all it would take is one major cyber attack for the tides to turn in support of an online Big Brother. Huh? :blobama: |

They will find a way to sneak it through. A few weeks or a few months. It will get passed in one form or another. When enough senators have amended the bill to include their favorite pork barrel projects as payback to those who made all of their fat campaign contributions, it will pass the senate. If Obamacare can pass, so will CISPA in one shape or another - wait and see. It sucks, - but that's the way it works on Capitol Hill. Huh? is this person out of their drug haze yet? ^^ this Obama, and his progressive movement, rely heavily on the internet -- and sharing of information. Information that would likely scare the crap out of the average American -- and information that likely violates the rights of many Americans. The law, as it was written, put those communications at risk - because it shared just about everything. That is why OBAMA wanted Corporations to screen the data before they sent it on to 'other organizations' or 'government entities' -- because he did not want information for his groups shared. Just like Obamacare... it applies to everyone, except Unions and other groups that support him. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

Specifically i posted that link in complete disbelief that a news agency thinks sheep are truly blind enough to allow something like this to be SPUN into a positive issue for obama. we are all fully aware what his motives and plans are. |
