What event turned you into a Conspiracy Theorist?

I have always been into "what is going on". I went to a very liberal college, majored in Political Science and graduated more depressed then I have ever been. It was like trying to shove a square peg into a circle. I could spout all they were telling me but it wasn't real, it was brain-washing. I walked away from current events and all news for about 10 years, my years in college made me sick and disgusted. Then I had a baby, I looked around at my country and my eyes opened.

Seeing a UFO, several actually, as I standing on my front porch in CT in the early evening. Almost shit myself.

Looked at MUFON for any sightings in the area. None.

Then of course, there was 9/11... .

When I saw those buildings come down, all I could think of was 'that is impossible - not with just planes, and not the way they came down.'

Project blue beam, if they can manage to get it precise and detailed enough, would be the a nice way to make the members of each religion believe their religion's prophets have returned and to convert atheists over...

Not sure if it's realistic to achieve in this day and age, but you never know what kind of technology they have out there at the moment.

The groundwork was laid when I was a kid and asked my dad, "are there really aliens?". He told me yes; and that there were things hidden by the government in hangars (he worked at Edwards in the 60's). I pressed for more information and he said he'd tell me more when I was older. He died of a heart attack at age 37, I never found out more.

I saw The China Syndrome movie when I was a teenager, and thought, hmmm.

Then, it was movie, Enemy of the State, that started me in really thinking about things. Especially my electronic footprint.

What exactly is a conspiracy theorist?

It started for me when I was very young. My parents telling me about Santa Claus. I know it sounds sarcastic but it truly effected me. I honestly didn't believe ANYTHING anyone said. It made me feel stupid and still to this day I have an extremely hard time believing most stories. Then I dabbled into religion a bit and those people were the most hypocritical evil people I met. I finally found GLP about a year ago and have felt a little peace ever since.

I have never been a conspiracy theorist but I have always known since an early age conspiracies are part of human society. A conspiracy is simply a group acting in concert against another group or individual.

In that respect , I am a conspiracy realist. I do not theorize, I come to logical conclusions based on logical analysis of the evidence.

My first personal experiences with conspiracies began early in life at age 7 in the second grade. I had been singled out as being of exceptional intelligence ,since I was reading books of a high school level by second grade. In the 60's, there were no special programs for children of advanced intelligence, and I can tell you that there were people imbedded in the educational system whose job it was to discourage us, and to place as much fear and obstacles in our lives as possible to prevent concentrating on learning.

I ALWAYS questioned authority, never accepting that it was anything but corrupt.

Anyway, one morning at recess ,a dirty poorly dressed kid I had never seen before in my school attacked me and ran up to me and knocked me to the ground, I was a pretty good fighter having an older brother who 'taught' me how to defend myself.

This kid picked up a large rock from the school playground and was about to hit me in the head with it so I kneed him in the nuts.

I never saw that kid after that day again and none of the recess monitors acknowledged seeing the altercation.

What really scared the shit out of me was when none of the several other kids who saw it would talk about it the next day, they had been told to keep quiet.

Now even as a & year old it was obvious to me there were several people involved in a conspiracy to seriously injure me.

One thing I can say with regret is that I realized the intelligent were singled out by some unseen force that never showed its true face and used proxies to do its dirty work (the very definition of conspiracy)and that the abilities of the intelligent were not encouraged or fostered in the public school system, but physically and mentally suppressed by a very organized conspiracy among the school staff that used other kids and certain teachers to instill fear in the intelligent.

I knew at an early age that being intelligent was something that was not looked upon kindly by most of a lessor intelligence and it was very easy to manipulate them to impede , ridicule and even attack the intelligent, and that standing out from the herd intellectually was dangerous to someone because you could see through the bullshit.

BTW, I was always a big kid for my age, not a stereotypical 'nerd' carrying a bunch of books around, but I always feared I would be killed at school. I was once hung out of a third story window at age 8 by a man named Beale at the Vivian Louisiana elementary school. During my years in the public education system i was attacked many times by both teachers and other students, and NONE of the other students i was attacked by did I ever know.

Not one event. Dozens! The constant lies from government and media that are full (mis/dis)information that both defies logic and physics.

All one has to have is a reasonable knowledge of history, geography, mechanics, electronics and physics and you realize that truth coming to you from media and government is THE EXCEPTION!

I consider all those that are not "conspiracy theorists" simply one thing: either too stupid or to "vested" to care.
