TPTB have used the Commandments to enslave us - they make it so that we break every single one of them.

If we actually lived by the Commandments, we would be free.

The 10 commandments are really about how to treat each other
Suppose you were starting a new society of people - what rules would make up as basic rules for them to live by in a group? Would you make up rules or just have rule by jungle?
I think people would like other people to live by rules but they don't want their desires infringed upon - which sounds like most children I know.
How would you model a starting over group?

Is murdering of other human beings a right for some, I tell you women and muslims believe it is. Is it oppression, to force them to stop murdering other humans?

it is basic logic to see
which pertain to religious worship - these opress freedom
and which pertain to Universal Human Rights (you shall not kill etc.) - these safeguard freedom

True.
And as long One knows which is the True God referred in the spirit there, it is a great safe-guard.
But at those times there were Men of God which guided and showed to the people what the One True God means.
They were Living Examples of what it means to follow the One True God.

TOday is a little more complicated. For only the text of a book is not enough to show the way.
And precisely because of this the rival godship can lead many astray by impersonating the 'one true god' in the letter of the law, but never in Its Spirit.

And if one learns to see the Spirit in things, behind the letter, then one shall know the One True GOd

Very simple: The 10 commandments are a great guide for life. We as a species are prone to mistakes, failures and violence through are tough processes.
Whether a person believes in God or not it is there choice, with that being said, as humans we should not group people nor prematurely judge people by looks, race or their life choices.
If we all treated each other as we would like to be treated we would not be were the world is today.
Tolerance and acceptance vs judgement and hate.

The 10 Commandments are a stop gap from the law that existed before them and will exist again after the 1,000 year reign begins. The people will be under the law given in Re:21, one that is applicable to an immortal and sinless people.

They did give Jesus a standard to go by (as well as the 600 other laws) so the cross was a death of a sinless man.

Safeguard,, Living by Gods law is a choice and a way of life. Laws were written in such away to bring us through generations of life under Gods laws. Our exsistance, depends in them.

and many still do
obama when he received the nobel for peace addressed de facto all humankind

and as the Original Creator has his ways to address mankind
