Re: Science Explains The Quija Board

By my tone of writing, you may think I'm a believer in your previously until now (you read the word scientist in a rag article published by hacks so now you're convinced it's true)

belief that the board has some sort of whatever magical properties, and i'm anti-science, pro-mystical on this.

not the case. I just don't invoke a programmed response which is more of a reflex motion, than an actual thought process.

this is mental zombieism. replacing the brain with programmed response patterns.

similar to memes on the clever people who love them so much.

why research something when you can just put a picture up, throw some impact font (white) on it, and at the bottom put

-Some really smart person

This thread is not as dumb as it's pretending, it's gotta be a test.

Wanna know the result?

It's spreading. Time? 3-4 months.

Re: Science Explains The Quija Board
When I was doing magick, I messed up on the pronunciation of one of my incantations.

I brought a goblim/gremblim type of creature into my house, It had fangs and pointy ears

He wreaked havoc with me for two weeks before he left.

When he entered my house, there was a strong wind and a noise like he was spit out of a portal.

he played with empty water bottles and would crinkle them over my head and throw them at me when I tried sleeping. He would step on me, poke me on the side, and open and close doors and jump on the bed.

When I confronted it, he would hiss at me or run off.

I heard another windstorm and saw him jump back into his portal from which he came.

OP, you've done it now. Let the fire and brimstone rants commence.

In all seriousness, I think the scientists are correct in this case. Thanks for sharing.

I dunno...I generally don't believe in "conjuring" spirits, but....I have just had an odd experience with one of those....can't really explain it. I wont be touching one again, that's for sure.

So do you think there are no spirits to call upon, or you just don't think a Quija board can do it?
 Quoting: *Evan

Hmmm. I certainly believe that there are forces in this universe that can't be explained by science but I don't know what they are. If someone sat down at an Ouija board with the sole intent of conjuring one it might be possible...I dunno. But I majored in psychology and I know for sure that the subconscious is a very powerful force. My guess is that the vast majority of Ouija messages are driven by unconscious desires or thoughts.

That's not to say that Ouija experiences can't be weird and disconcerting...I've had some of them myself.

Ive seen a black hairy entity perched over a sleeping person before. When I woke up and looked at it, it looked at me with glowing yellow eyes and it was shocked that I saw it. It floated down the bed in a black mist and flew away. it was as scared of me as much as I was scared of it.

To many, Ouija boards are a sign of dark magic, a way to allow people to receive messages from the spirit world by being guided around the board's letters.

However, the Victorian parlor game, and other 'spiritual' devices such as dowsing wands, are guided by the people holding them, scientists have found.

Under a phenomenon known as the ideomotor effect, muscles and movements can move without a person being aware of the action, leading many to believe they have witnessed some form of magic, according to BBC Future.

Appears we are still in the dark ages.

The air around is is alive with thousands of creatures flying in and out our dimension.

We are brainwashed that we have to poop. eat, and piss to be alive and anything that doesnt poop and eat and piss isnt alive. Sad that we still live in ignorance. No wonder people are so afraid to die .

If we are brainwashed to think this is the only life there is, then it will make people keep buying more and support capitalism cause they have no other hope but to live it up in this life.

Re: Science Explains The Quija Board
I did it at my cousins when I was 18...I was living with them for a few months because I was going through some rough times and so were they. They were quite about eleven years older than me, my cousin and his wife, and they had just lost their only child to cancer when he was just eight years old. My cousin had to work and his wife was very depressed and at home alone during the day so I needed a place to stay and she needed the company. She was doing a lot of reading about the paranormal because she wanted to contact her dead son. She would leave his bedroom door open and the nightlight on for him at night. Anyway...to make a long story short she had me go to the toy store and buy a Ouija board and we all sat down and played it one night. I thought my cousin was moving it around because he's quite the prankster...but we all took our hands off the pointer and it was moving on its own without any help from us. It spelled out the name of my husband nine years before I ever met him...he has a pretty unusual name so it stuck with me and I always remember thinking after we got married that the Ouija board really did work! Creepy though...we only played it that one time and I never wanted to do it again.

It's not an easily understable stuff. usually, the players are basically "talking" with themselves using the planchette or the glass or whatever they use on the cardboard. BUT maybe that that "amount of psychic energy" (whatever it is) released during the seance gets some sort of "independent personality", being technically an "egregore". The affair about "Phillip" in the 70s or 80s is a classic case.

Not demonic, just another world like the natural world around you.

Full of wonders of life both good, bad and strange.

Just as dangerous as a baby dear walking into a wide open field. But just as good as life itself.

Don't fear the realm, just heed caution. Which is why people are freaked out, they feel the fear and a good reason to fear. But that is no reason to avoid something otherwise beautiful beyond compare.

Like a baby realizing the world around them, the amazement. Peek into the divine, but not too far at first.

Familiarity is your friend.

We are all life sparks, from plant, to bug to fish, to mammal to human. We notch up in reincarnation each time. When we reach human, our life spark keeps a record of our core identity but we are given some new challenges, experiences to round us out.

This can be seen in natal charts. All the planets emit electromagnetic signals in certain degrees and hertz which is downloaded by our tiny bit of magnetite in our brain. We are born with differing positions of the sun, moon, and planets that help determine our life lessons . When we shed our shell, we reincarnate to another adventure.

Eventually though, we end our reincarnation states to become immortal, This is why religions were created to give us comfort and to cheer us onto the finishing line. We reach our shabbat day of rest and we dont have to fight or flight anymore, but are given the secrets of the universe and we are released from pain and bondage.

Exactly,

I hate to say it but when I was a teen, a friend borrowed one from a neighbor and we played it. It NOT a game... I stopped, realizing it was accessing the paranormal of another dimension. Yuck, not good..

I'm sorry to say but lap-tops remind me of the Quija Board just due to the numbers and letters on the lap-top plus having to place both hands on the "board"....or should I say lap-top...LOL

Hummm, lap-tops channel capable? Matter of fact who's not to say;
that the paranormal dimension is collecting data on humanity....LOL
WOW, wonder what information they have collected on human???
Who's to say; humans are the better/good dimension now?
