HUGE rock formation I filmed inside a crater...1:14 video ENJOY!

It looks like it's on top of another crater with a similar formation. Maybe something about the moon's surface in that area causes those to form after an impact?

Do you have a video camera hooked to your telescope and that is how you zoom? I have a 102mm telescope. Is it capable of getting the kind of shots you have here?

i get the impression of metallic from how the craters are formed. interesting.
and what an interesting formation! smack in the middle.

You must have a decent scope-can I suggest you get a USB eyepiece to record better video?

That's where the crater hit.

When a crater hits at high enough velocity, it hits much like a water droplet hitting the water. The ground expands out and the middle rises.

You can see it on other craters on the moon too.

Honest opinion? Im looking at the circumstances and logically, it appears to be where an asteroid hit and there happen to be a boulder, right next to where the asteroid hit and when it did hit, that said boulder was on the edge and rolled down in the pit of what was left over of the asteroid. Im an idiot....

the same as maybe the asteroid hit... but didn't evapourate.... (high density)?

Maybe that is the rock the caused that crater.

Ive got some Jewish friends, whose family own diamond stored here inthe south. I could get them to but the diamonds, at half price. Of course that is if we can get illegal mexicans to mine it for cents on the dollar.....BWAHAHAHA.....
