Yes they all go into oroville, I do not know which ones are controllable release, the majority but not all.

If ANY of those 9+ upstreams dams fail, oroville also fails, amazing isnt it?

I've seen that leaky pile of destruction. That's HORRIFYING. I can't even believe it's still holding. This stuff should be on every news media with demands for Browns resignation and Croyles (who is brand new btw Jan 1). Expose what they spent and intend to spend on their dream projects, the the Delta Tunnels/California WaterFix and the high speed rail and what they spent on maintaining their infrastructure. Croyle is in charge of THAT too btw.

Expose what was spent on illegals and none on the safety of the citizens that pay taxes.

Yes any of these 11 upstream dams fail then oroville also fails, the water being diverted from almanor to butt valley to keep almanor from overflowing still flows from butt valley to oroville. They have been playing games to hit their public 850 number by holding back water upstream and creating a bigger problem now that all that upstream capacity is used up and they timed it so that happened just on the cusp of more coming rain and the snow melt season. Insane if you ask me, planning to keep oroville at 850 my end up proving to be the fatal decision.

well, just because Oroville hasn't burst yet doesn't mean it's not going to.

Bill Croyle will take the helm of the agency as Governor Jerry Brown’s “legacy” project, the Delta Tunnels/California WaterFix, faces increasing opposition from fishermen, Tribal leaders, conservationists, environmental justice advocates, scientists and elected officials because it would destroy West Coast salmon and other fish populations and devastate family farms and communities throughout the Delta.


They were getting an enormous amount of opposition to these projects. Lake Oroville supplies water to 23 million people (this part in Sac Bee).
