I am so tempted to make a joke about our beloved Chipster, but he's kinda scary.

They can do both. They can already cut a hole in your skull and connect straight to your brain. They also really do have helmets that can connect wirelessly to your brain. I saw a video of a quadriplegic (can't move from the neck down) moving a mouse cursor and typing out words just buy thinking about it. This was at least 5 years ago.

There was a post on GLP a while back about being able to add chips to your brain and just like the Matrix movie being able to give you memory or skills.

Additionally, I remember reading about other technologies using sound waves to control your mood or induce hallucinations.

They have been working on this kind of shit since WWII.

It's just chemicals. You can't grow the accompanying soul or spirit to animate that chip.

This whole area of science spawned from the "Super Soldier" programs, and have received additional funding from the medical industry under the guise of helping those with brain or nervous system damage, but always under the watchful eye of other programs that lost their funding in the short term.

Either way, when you hear about human cyborg agendas just know that it is real and has at least a 75 year ongoing history to it.

So we are now seriously talking about computer chip brain implants and mechanical upgrades to your body to improve strength and endurance.

There was even talk of being able to map the entire neural net of the brain. A literal download of your brain. A copy if you will. Just like in the Ghost in the Shell series or the Matrix movies.

It sounds unreal, but it is real...
