Going to try and go back to sleep. Will let you know if progress occurs. I have a decent diet, and am very active. It seems the cause of these things is really hard to pinpoint |

It hurts like the dickens, but if you can stand to put a tiny bit of salt directly on them, they'll go away fast. Rinsing with warm salt water should help, too, if you can't tolerate putting the salt directly on them. There's also a medicine called Zilactin that forms a sort of "band aid" over the sore. In my experience, it doesn't hold up well to eating, but between meals, it helped quite a bit. |

Tea tree oil is well known as being a great skin disinfectant. Baking Soda - Canker sores and baking soda have been a good combination for many years now. Mix in a teaspoon of baking soda with some warm water and rinse in your mouth several times a day. The pain should go away within 24 hours. You can also mix the baking soda and a little water together to form a paste that you can then take and rub onto the sore itself. Canker sores and baking soda is very good remedy for those asking how to get rid of canker sores. |
