Hollywood pushes all the filth and evil possible to every corner of the planet, most of the pornography made in the US is made in the San Fernando Valley and San Francisco is responsible for all sorts of debauchery and hedonistic ideals going back to the hippie days. Not to mention how many of the drugs come through this state whether up from Mexico or into the ports. The gangs, the drug culture, the perversion, the godlessness, the entitled attitude that is part of the whole "Cali attitude" that many of us bring with us to other states, etc. I don't want my home state to be destroyed, but I really don't see how God can allow this place to stand much longer. It is getting worse and worse with each passing year. |

Eliminate that concept from your mind; it is unequivocally incorrect and deluded in thinking. Try telling someone whose lived an honest life in Houston that the reason their house is flooded and most of their furniture and belongings are destroyed that they are experiencing God's punishment for not living to his ideological satisfaction. Accept that natural disasters are what they are called, natural disasters. Shit happens. Get over it. Some people live in a moderately relaxed environment that is devoid of potentially catastrophic events from happening; but it is not necessarily that it WON'T happen, but that it hasn't happened yet. California, according to seismologists, is due for a major earthquake sometime soon however. I guarantee you some religious fanatics will boast online the moment it happens to let everyone know that all the fucking liberals in Hollywood got what they deserve from baby Jesus. |

It honestly feels like this state has some real heavy judgement just hanging over it and everyone is too caught up in the California dreaming mentality to even notice or care. |

Not every single person or area, but the overall vibe here is not good. We really do peddle our twisted values to the entire planet and walk around with a real haughtiness overall. This is what it feels like, just watching it pile up all around us and people here are mostly oblivious. Especially the youth. Most of them are too busy smoking weed and running wild with their "Cali swag" mentality to even notice how corrupt and evil this place is. It isn't that old school chill California that I grew up in anymore. Take the worst stereotypes of millennials and the worst stereotypes of Californians and combine them into one monstrosity and that is what is overrunning this place now. There isn't much hope out here anymore. |

Quoting: CapnRon Both regions on either side are moving, be patient, doom is coming for the west coast. Even though I'm still living here, I sometimes hope for it. If nothing else, it would just shut all of these random idiots up for once. From the low life gang banging hoodlum thugs to the snooty hipsters with their overpriced lattes. This place just sucks now. I think the last real "golden era" for CA was sometime in the mid-late 90s. Things were still cool then. |

Well i'll put it this way, California is the epicenter to things like pornography, gang violence and even cults to that Mexican death saint. We have more people here worshipping death than everyone realizes due to the large amount of immigrants and cultures. There are entire churches and temples here where people openly revere the Angel of Death, especially in Los Angeles. It isn't like small town Americana in the heartland. There is some flat out, bonafide weird shit out here. |
Hope Rising User ID: 69947748 United States 09/10/2017 03:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Because there is not god. There is only nature, and nature takes care of itself. You concept of god and spirituality is simply your awareness of your super Ego as a concept of a belief in the devine. We are more intelligent than other creatures. It is our inborn instinct to fight for survival and search for meaning in everyday life to further propagate or species. Our survival depended on us listening to our parents, unlike any other animal on this planet. Thus we look to things in nature to fill that void as we grow up. What we can't explain we call god. This is why our history and science of all religious test is all screwed up. God is man made. If god were real, it would of found a more reliable and accurate way to communicate itself to its creation, rather than be left to the misinterpretations of men inaccurate writings. Why, becuae according to all religions, god values truth above all else. If test are false, than the gods of religious text are false, and thus not of god who values truth. God is therefore, God can be found in science and math that are provable and rejoices when theories are found incorrect. People that value science live there lives truthfully as if god existed. My god is not a liar of religious doctrine so why would I follow such nonsense. My god if it exist in spiritual form would be proud of me for not falling for such silly and sinful lies about our human state found in religion. Therefor, I am among the chosen few. A true child of god in our universe. |

Nothing totally catastrophic, wrath of God type stuff yet. I realize that when it is time, it will probably be the "Big One" and that will totally destroy the state for good, but why would God hold off on pouring out wrath upon the most liberal state in the union? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30671160 Is it because with Hollywood and the values pushed into the whole world by this elite, God's wrath will be so hardcore that He is really waiting until the last possible moment in order to spare as many people as possible or to give time for repentance? Time for everyone who sees what is coming up to flee from CA and get somewhere else?? Any other Californians want to weigh in? This state is really going downhill fast and I honestly don't see how it can last much longer. We are long overdue for judgement from the Almighty. Maybe California gets the dramatic finale?
