I think that it is good of you to think on this matter. I also think that even if you are wrong, you do not deserve to be called derogatory names for your thoughts. I will say this to you, the Bible tells you everything you need to know about the end times. Check out that some to. While I am not convinced that Obama is the "antichrist", I do believe that he is part of the bigger steps towards One World Order which will lead to the up rise of this powerful person. Obama has alot of the prophcied biblical characteristics, but only time will tell the truth of his part in the over all scheeme of things. i have nothing against the christian faith perse, nor to the users of this forum. but stuff like this is clearly just misdirected speculation, most probably due to some deep-seated craving for attention (no offense bro... but we all know that's all it is).
if there was any actual proof, it would make interesting reading. quotes from the bible don't count. it was edited by the romans in a very well played out attempt to unite the jewish and catholic religions under the hood of what has become to be known as 'christianity'. or so i have been lead to believe.

You Christians are a sad bunch...still believing in the Devil? I thought most people understood that Satan was invented to scare people into following the church.

Anyone who truly believes Barack Obama is the dreaded Antichrist does not have a full discernment and understanding of the scriptures.

Are there similarities between the description of Obama and the foretelling of the counterfeit Christ? Yes, of course there are -- just are there are with just about every world leader in the past century. (See Daniel chapters 9 and 11, and pay particular heed to verses 36 through 45 in verse 11; see II Thessalonians 2: 1-12; and see Revelation chapter 13.)

Of all the outlandish things that some have come up with to identify Obama as the Antichrist, the only one scripture that even prophetically has any clarity to it in this regard comes in Isaiah chapter 14, verses 12 through 21.

In this passage, we know the prophet Isaiah says he "... beheld Lucifer cast from Heaven like LIGHTNING."

I suspect some of us here know what the name "Barack" translates to in Aramaic:

LIGHTNING.

Other than that, no one has any genuine rhyme or reason to link President Obama as the Antichrist. Many of us like whimsically to quote Nostradamus as though he were the prophet Saint John of Patmos, especially with regard to all the hype over the "Mabus" idea.

The problem with Nostradamus' prose is that no one -- NO ONE -- has ever been able to link anything he's written to prophecy BEFORE the prophecy has happened -- or indeed, WILL HAPPEN.

Why is this?

Very simple. Two reasons. The first is that Nostradamus' prose is too esoteric for even the most well-read in the occult to understand. The second is that while a good man who had indeed completely surrendered every fabric of his being to Jesus Christ, Nostradamus was essentially merely a side-show parlor trick. Not everything the Frenchman has surmised has in fact come true.

In short, don't put a lot into anything written by Nostradamus; put your trust in the BIBLE, the book of TRUE PROPHECY.

The primary scripture in the Bible that unequivocally, COMPLETELY disqualifies President Obama as the dreaded Antichrist lies in Daniel chapter 11, verse 37.


"Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all."

Obama's marriage to his beautiful wife Michelle completely rules out any possibility of his being the Antichrist. And though at times the powerful, beautiful rhetoric in his speeches seems self-centered, our new president is always quick to point out that "... this election was not about ME. It's about YOU."

Is the Antichrist alive right now. You bet he is. But make no mistake about it, he is NOT President Barack Obama, America's -- and indeed, the WORLD's true, last hope.

If you really want to find out the identity of the Antichrist, study the occult more and pay particular heed to the bloodline of the Merovingian kings that leads straight to modern-day Great Britain. In particular, WALES. (Matter of fact, look at the Welsh flag. See its central theme, its symbol? It's a DRAGON. Think about that, and remember Revelation 13 when you look at it.)

I'm in a hurry right now, so I can't get any further into this. But again, President Obama is NOT the Antichrist.

What our new president really needs is not for you, me and all of us to sit around here and comtemplate some kind of deep, inner predestinate malevolent nature that he -- like any of us -- just doesn't have. The truth is that yes, President Obama is a Christian, first and foremost. He does NOT worship any sort of New Age god of "forces"; he worships the only true and living God, our saviour, Jesus Christ our Lord.

What President Obama needs is our prayers, first and foremost. Pray that hrist our Lord will answer his prayers for the wisdom that he needs to get us through the most difficult economic crisis since that which accosted the great Franklin Delano Roosevelt nearly a century ago. Obama needs our help. He needs our prayers. And most importantly, he needs GOD's help.

But make no mistake about it, Obama is NOT the Antichrist.

Study the nature of the heresy that is the Da Vinci Code and the 1982 book "Holy Blood, Holy Grail," (I can't remember its author right now, sorry) and you may begin to truly understand the true identity of the Antichrist. He is not an American, and no matter what Nostradamus' prose has unfortunately led you to believe, he is not the Antichrist.

God bless you, President Obama. I will never cease to pray for you and your family. And I will never cease to pray that we may all gain enough of a deeper, closer relationship to the Almighty so that we can all see the surreptitious arrival of the man riding on the white horse.

I quoted the wrong scripture with regard to the concept of "lightning" as it was used in the Bible.

In my last (and only) post here, I said the concept of "lightning" (and this is irrespective of whatever language in which it was written) with respect to our understanding of Satan comes from Isaiah chapter 14; wrong.

The verse to which I meant to refer is actually found in the NEW Testament: Luke chapter 10, verse 18.

"Jesus said, 'I beheld Satan as lightning fell from Heaven.'"

Sorry about that, guys. Obviously, there's a pretty big difference between something the Old Testament prophet Isaiah said, and what Jesus Christ our Lord Himself said.

This is good for the most part except you will be surprised to discover all those who were awaiting a rapture found out it still doesn't come. And that is because there will be no rapture. The only rapture that takes place will be at the end of the world when the Lord separates the goats from the sheep and in a twinkling of an eye we will all be changed. Anyway, the best thing to do right now is realize the antichrist probably is alive and we just need to become holy, rid ourselves of anything not of God and pray for mercy. The Lord said no one is greater than the master so why in the world do people have this goofy man-made idea they're going to escape difficult times? The antichrist as bad as he is will still be a man and as long as all people live they get to choose. So when tribulation comes, people better get their heads screwed on straight and make sure they believe in the Cross, because that is His sign. You have the cross, you believe in carrying your cross and the Lord will see you on the other side. Those who don't get with the program while there is yet time will see all the horrible stuff coming, expect a rapture, not see it coming and many will despair. Keep faith and there will be salvation, regardless if Obama is aligned with the bad guy or not.
