Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 569766 United States 03/22/2009 11:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 480844No questions. Get away from that shit. Fast! Hope you get better soon. I left as soon as i could after taking pictures of the extent of the mold. Now that im conscious and alert after 3 days of sleep and horrible body ache and sickness(i still hurt all over and have continuing flu like symptoms) i don't think i'll be returning to work although im scheduled all week. I survived cancer at a young age, that aside.... this is by far the sickest i have EVER been in my life. Thanks for the well wishes!!! |

There have been cases where entire buildings have had to be demolished and burned because it refused to go away. Do you have symptoms like that of Raynaud's syndrome? Do you feel anxious for no apparent reason? Are you having strange and unpleasant dreams? |

Do you feel anxious for no apparent reason? Are you having strange and unpleasant dreams? I have noticed abnormal and uncontrollable anxiousness at times while living in this environment. I have strange dreams often and from what i just read about Raynaud's syndrome....yah i have issues with my finger and toe tips going numb despite the fact that they arent physically colder than other areas of my body. Also i want to see a doctor but im certain they will throw 'medicine' at me and tell me to get over it without discovering what the issue or source was. Why do you ask? |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 569766 United States 03/23/2009 12:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Those were my main symptoms in addition to muscular aches. It is either ergot poisoning or a chemical from a mold similar to Calviceps. Raynaud's can be caused by the medication ergotamine, the arrows point back to mycotoxins. Quoting: Ossie bloke 424327OIC. thank you so much for your input and info. I am accustomed to much warmer climates and at present i am living just miles from the canadian border, i know VERY little about mold but im learning fast. anyone else have some thoughts? |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 569766 United States 03/23/2009 12:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Toxic mold.. as in stacci botrus? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 475553You can get a sample on scotch tape and send to a private lab.. Besides that.. good luck.. I'm not sampling that shit, mold/health inspectors can test the mold count in the air and on surfaces and there are attorneys who specialize in personal injury lawsuit that revolve around mold. Stacci botrus?....like i said i don't know a lot about mold or mold types but im learning fast. All i was told was its 'black mold' google searches indicate its deadly toxic and illegal to rent space saturated with it. |

And don't be so sure the environmental hygenist *those who test the air* will come up with a possitive. We had to do our own testing.. It is only dangerous once it dries out and the spores release.. You can easily tap it with a piece of scotch tape and have it tested for 50 bucks to ease your own mind, or use in court.. |

"It helped me recover from two incurable diseases. I was paralyzed with MS in 1989. I nearly died from Crohn's disease in 1994." NICE!!! this eminates square waves and vibrates at the frequency of negatively charged pathogens (parasites, mold, fungi, bacteria, virus..) but you have to use it slowly and at small intervals.. it kills the pathogens and makes them literally explode but they give off toxins when they die so you have to do it slowly so it doesnt damage you.. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 639430 United States 03/23/2009 12:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You have my sympathies. My family and I were living in a home with black mold for a very long time before we discovered it. I've had illnesses off and on ever since we moved in that house, but got extremely sick about a year and a half ago. I'm finally starting to feel better, but I still have problems. It takes your body awhile to recover from all the effects of the mold. Find yourself a good naturopath doctor or a master herbalist who knows how to treat it. This website has a lot of good info on toxic mold. [link to mold-survivor.com] Best of luck to you! |

Moral dilemma! This is my biggest question/problem aside from getting healthy right now. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1280192 United States 02/28/2011 02:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Mold is an allergen. If you are allergic to it, or have some pre-existing asthma or health conditions, it can certainly affect you. The biggest question for if mold is affecting you is "How do you feel today?" Here is an informative link, from the CDC, that may help some of you and allay some of your fears as well. [link to www.cdc.gov] |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1280192 United States 02/28/2011 02:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Apologies, Part of the link was left off. Here is the exact page I was attempting to direct you to. [link to www.cdc.gov] |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 17926276 United States 07/25/2012 01:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i have the same issue. I had lyme and a bunch of coninfections so I was on tons of antibiotics for a couple years and now I seem to have a drug-resistant yeast or mold growing in my body. Can't get rid of it no matter what i do. Tried humaworm, GSE, coconut oil, iodine, candex, probiotics, water kefir (homemade), cat's claw, resveratrol, r-lipoic acid, zeolites, alkalizing...etc...etc. seems like it just comes back as soon as I stop whatever antifungal im taking. I've also taken nystatin, diflucan, and ketoconozole for months and still...it came back. WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WRONG?!?!?! I've been on the candida diet for two years now and I'm super freakin skinny. I've lost like 50 pounds because there is not much food I can eat without suffering. I FEEL LIKE I AM DYING! |
