Except somehow, millions still live in Israel proper, and another few millions in the W.B., Gaza, etc.

Then there's the whole bit about "Palestinian" being a general term for everyone in the area, until the Arabs decided it was theirs alone, and used it to make it sound like they're a distinct group from the other millions of Arabs in the millions of square miles of Arab ruled lands.

And of course, the whole thing about Israel being only 10% or so of the former British Palestine...

Wouldn't hurt if every time Israel extended it's hand, the Palis didn't spit on it. Maybe you're not old enough to remember the 90s peace talks, but Israel gave all sorts of concessions even as Palis were busy suicide bombing Israeli malls and other public places. Every time Israel agreed to a concession, Palis refused it, wanting more and more, trying to see how much they could get.

They bluffed and lost, and yet 5 years later, Israel still sat down with them, and exited Gaza and other locations. They were repaid with increased rocket strikes, and an attack from Lebanon.

For some reason, Arabs just don't seem to be happy unless Israel's bringing it's military prowess down on top of them. They're more interested in the sympathy card, somehow believing that if they keep at it, eventually the rest of the world will show up and start carting off Jews from the land, and give it all to Arabs.

It's kind of a bizarre way of thinking, IMO.
