Quoting: Anonymous Coward 832461i walk a lot. garden a lot. practice martial arts. eat what i raise. i'm outside as much as possible. been this way all my life. i avoid doctors and western medicine. get my vitamins and such from plants, sunshine and fresh air. does that help any? Totally agree. If you can't garden... eat as much organic produce/food as you can get access to. Westenr gadgets (cell/microwaves and other "high tech" devices will likely lead many who are now younger into unforeseen health problems later. Excercise, proper whole foods and purified water, sunshine and fresh air (especially avoid smoke), low stress lifestyle should help you be considerably healthier as you age. |

Eagle # 1 User ID: 822411 United States 12/03/2009 06:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have made it to almost 82 and can tell you IF you did NOT build a sound body between the ages of 2 and 18, your only solution to that is READ up on every body problem you have AND as they present themselves. As a former science teacher, I taught MANY classes about nutrition and vitamines, BUT, there is ALWAYS more to learn. Example: I recently read the results of THIRTY doctors who investigated vitamine D3 for years and combined all there knowledge in ONE meeting. Suprise was, they had NOT planned how to get this info out, but a curious woman that had attended that meeting offered to do same. She even made charts to show that taking about 5000 IU of D3 a day, stopped most of ALL the major 'diseases' from appearing, INCLUDING virus infections/Ukranian flu. I had been so 'sure' that 500 IUs were enough, but their data PROVED I was wrong ! Wish I had the url, but I don't. Willpower to NOT eat processed foods, checking the ingredients posted on labels, DOING your OWN investigative work on the net, STOPING the use of refined white flour/sugar, researching homeopathic uses of what nature supplies AND finally, throwing Big Pharma OUT of your life ( may need to include some doctors there too ) will benifit MOST ! Anonymous Coward User ID: 801926 United States 12/03/2009 06:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OK don't laugh but I really think this is beginning to work. I've read Hermes Thrice Great advice on health. He says everything in the universe vibrates. And today, modern science proves these words to be true. He also said, that the body becomes ill when something interferes with the body's polarity in relation to its vibrations. Now think about this. The North and South pole are both strong, magnetic areas.(again proven scientifically). The vibrations of every living thing gravitates towards these poles. (per Hermes advice). So he instructs one to lie down each day for one hour. With your head facing North first. Your hands folded and clasped across your chest. During this hour you concentrate on the areas of your body such as your head and chest. Then after that hour is up, you turn and place your head towards the South. Do the same thing with your hands, but this time concentrate on your hips, legs and feet. When I say concentrate, I mean meditate. Picture your body in your minds eye. I am telling you the truth. I've done this for two days and I swear I am looking younger than I did a few weeks ago. Whether it's positive thinking or really something to this, I don't know. But I think there is. He also advises to abstain against eating too much. Not like we all don't already know this but..that's what he says. |
