Show me how I'm attempting to dominate you. No personal attacks, just rational logic. How am I dominating you? By refusing to mold to you? That's not domination. That's me drawing a boundary and refusing to participate. But please, do, explain how I'm attempting to dominate you.

Most of that rings a bell. I process through intuitive side fist. Cock my head even to the right. On Que. At times when I sense something. Perceive something missing. Filter then, I suspect, counter clockwise through left brain quickly to perceive what is behind the scenes. It is like I can hear the unspoken. The language that is missing from something that would make it make more logical sense.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22315188

I cock my head too, lol. It's a funny little habit. If I was a dog, my ears would be pricking up, I guess, as an equivalent act. You guys are kind of touching on something that a friend of mine from the program (not on this thread) and I were discussing the other day. We were comparing similarities in how we process information and, in some cases, act on it. I've always compared my brain to being like a computer. I don't see things in a 1 or 0 way--not at all. I truly have no opinions and would be hard pressed to be able to give one. I'd write a book on the subject if pressed. It's just like taking data in, then sorting it all--almost like when you first open the box of a puzzle. Actually, it's very much like that. Sort the data to find the frame, find how things connect.

It's why I don't think we're any kind of manchurian candidate, mkultra knockoff. What's stuffed into our heads and what makes us tick is a whole lot of information, learning. The sniffing out of propaganda and lies, knowing when something in a story is missing and a drive to quietly correct it. We're something else entirely.
 Quoting: ArmchairObserver

I know the ear perking up analogy you speak. I have always equated it to a cat though. (Just saw some 'cat ear' technology units that work off neuro-processor/neurons out of Japan advertised a couple weeks ago.) I never got much into the mk stuff much either. (Reading books by their cover? On some Manchurian candidates? Yes.) Actually I think that is what landed me in the gifted programs at a young age. I actually did read books by there covers and write the reports. Think something like that happened in third grade and I was so called ‘gifted’ thereafter.
 Quoting: Forethought 22315188

Neophiles rising, people with the ability to change and adapt, flexible in their intelligence and attitude. These types of people I do not think would be MK'd aside from maybe "shut down" as in fucked with to prevent true potential from arising. I see the Neophobes, the people who fear and avoid change, as the targets for that end of the program. I'm even leaning toward us being taken out of class to prevent their programming from over riding ours... and maybe even our "gaps" being explained as governors on our systems that would most likely degrade with time... Or specialized learning that was hidden like an easter egg with a slow cracking shell, just as planned... or not, lol. That was my on the fly thought experiment. (Never take those as the Gospel of Bea, I posit lots of crazy stuff.)
 Quoting: Bea Nameless

The reason my mother was given as to why I was taken out of class: “The other students needed to catch up.” I actually did not attend 2nd grade at all. My mother kept every report card. Every semester card of four quarters for the higher years. I went through them recently. No second grade. And could see the things I denoted earlier with my first post for the evening.

That's fine, that's your perception. Now I'll explain my logic. How I see you is not an accusation. It's a subjective perception based on the negative energy in the subcontext of your posts. I've met people who siphon energy who use the same language as you, thus I discern you likely resemble them in that arena. Your inferiority is your own to own. If you feel you are, you are. If you feel you're not, you're not. I don't see you as inferior, just not relatable due to what I perceive as suspect motivations. So I refuse to allow you to push your perceived negativity over my boundary.

Your truths are not my truths, my truths are not your truths. Never the twain shall meet! Subjective perception on both our parts, yours to push, mine to hold the line. You lack the ability to move me. Instead of attacking what I say, you attack me and push at my boundaries which will not budge. So yes, I do think you lack the skills to communicate effectively in a rational and logical manner. Your presumptions are based on your own internal bias towards me. You see what you want to see. And again, that's none of my business. I could frankly care less what you think of me.

Not all triggers involve stress or trauma, some do... hence my total shutdown when confronted with a sewing machine or stick shift. You're right in this, trauma will shut down the retention of knowledge. Stress, on the other hand, the drive to learn and achieve to meet a set goal, not so damaging if it's self inflicted, not from the outside.

But many of the tools used to manipulate others lie in the usage of language, the lack of vocabulary of the average citizen, disdain for learning due to lack of interest or the trauma of school itself and the ability of a few to manipulate that language to suit their own ends. Those are the things that interest me, how we can decode true meaning from others by exploring why certain words trigger a preprogrammed response.

All I can think of is that when people here are talking of triggers, then they are referring to those things that can stimulate a flash back. A flashback, while temporarily and severely distressing, is a step towards healing. One just has to comprehend that the event isn't occurring at the time, that it is in the past and that there is no danger at the present or from the recollection. I have had flashbacks. I do not know if they are directly related to this thread but I do know that flashbacks, if dealt with properly, can be healing, like you say. They can work to desensitize the individual to the event to a level in which they can deal with it. I don't fear flashbacks. I fear never getting better.

There is a very fine line between flashbacks and retrieval of information. Retrieval of memory. Especially for the 'read books by their cover' type of individuals. I believe this is what that poster may be hitting on. I have more thoughts to share of my experience. But not just yet. Very close to tying it into the sensation of sadism at a historic scale from a sociological perspective.

Suicide program, check. Was there a few months ago. Was wholly unpleasant and luckily logically deficient. What my mind was saying was not matching what I wanted or the historic situation. I mentioned that on the thread. Was there a trigger in something that I wrote about that? I can figure it out from there. Just a a yes or no would suffice. I remember the event quite well and what I said here about it.

Problem with researching any of this stuff is that there are people out there with their own agendas. It's hard to say who is blowing smoke out of their arse and who is offering actual legitimate information. That's why I asked for assistance in this matter, some sort of direction. Something preferably not written by a mad man would be good, too.

Sadism comes from the dominance script multiplied to an extreme. Masochism is created and a desire or drive for punishment, dominance/submission scripts, the competitive ones. They stem from an "I'm ok, you're not ok/I'm not ok, you're ok" duality of force. Submission to dominance creates a stronger flavor of dominance to get the same result. "I'm not okay, you're not okay" creates a blend of sado-masochism. But the "I'm ok, you're ok" script creates freedom and open exchange without dominance and submission at all. It's an ebb and flow of free exchange where one might step back, then step up, without conflict. That's the one cooperation script. The first three force, the last influences. Competition vs cooperation.
"Chaos exists as a pool of possibilities that order draws from and organizes according to creative desire. Some things get tossed down the memory hole only to reemerge later when the need arises. Neither chaos nor order holds a monopoly on creation and destruction, creative or destructive chaos exists as does creative and destructive order." - ME! Yeah, Bea :) snoocherdoodle@gmail.com

erm triggers involve stress/trauma...no human plant or animal can heal/learn or retain information at an optimum whilst in that state.futile

They can be one in the same. One of the ones that I have had in the past few months was flashing lights. Sounds really stupidly simple but it wasn't. I had the emotion, thought, everything in it. It was both a retrieval and a flashback. Although it was truly horrible at the time (as odd as that may sound since it featured flashing lights but the context is everything), it gave me something that I had never understood about myself before. I had always had bad reactions to strobe lights and flashing lights. They even checked me for epilepsy because of it. It wasn't epilepsy. It was just pure emotional distress. So the retrieval/flashback, while painful in the moment of occurrence, allowed me to learn and comprehend more about myself.

The other type of trigger, like the suicide programming, that's a whole other ball game. Instead of fighting amongst ourselves, if one gets dropped, can we not presume it was an accident and just identify it? If it's already been dropped, immediate identification denotes it as being a trigger. That should lessen the impact on any that are unaware and it can allow the original poster to remove it if they have that ability.

I don't like flashing lights either. My mom uses a 35mm camera and it always puts me in a bad, bad mood. I always feel like it shorts me out, lol. I suspect something about the flash interferes with neurons firing in the gray by displacing the natural light in an unnatural manner. But then I always jump when the toaster pops, too.

@ Your second paragraph. Tie a reincarnation program in with the suicide program. "Houston, we have a problem." Probably not the right time for me to be humorous. It is possible to walk through the resurrection programing. But I would think a trigger that is at the scale of the one the poster might not be able to identify.
