Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace." Anybody know what the fuel is and how much is required? It sounds like possibly a more effecient way to convert one form on energy (fuel) to another (electricity), without the mechinical step. Never mind..natural gas at half the rate needed with current technology. But not a fuel 'source' as implied |

The tech for clean easy energy has been around, the problem is there is no way to get it to market with out adding a bunch of waste to it. Even preheating the gasoline in your car would make it more efficient.. but this is NOT allowed. |

Seeing as a good deal of electricity is already being produced by natural gas and that this method is more efficient in both the production and delivery it really makes sense. Plus natural gas is pretty abundant. If the ever built a gas line from Alaska natural gas prices would collapse. Maguyver User ID: 808852 United States 02/22/2010 01:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Fuel cells use natural gas or hydrogen as a fuel. Actually they strip the hydrogen off the natural gas molecule and use that. There's a few companies that have been goofing around with fuel cells for years now. They just aren't economically feasable except the those willing to spend big bucks for the neato factor. Someday, though, they will break that cost/benefit barrier with the masses. Adversity is inevitable, misery is optional. Do or do not. There is no try. "The enemy will never attack where you are strongest...He will attack where you are weakest.
