crystals can also manipulate energy fields, the creation of the vortex talked about in this thread becomes an accumulation of energy. many huge ancient crystal structures were used for this purpose rather than time travel or curing disease. contrary to what people like to think, the atlanteans and other ancient civilisations made errors through being megalomaniacal which have partly got us into the mess we are in now. we now have a chance to go the other way and right their wrongs as we are NEARING their level of advancement(certainly not there yet), though we prefer computers to crystals.

Dr. Brown was truly blessed to come away with evidence from the pyramid (but it doesn't prove anything that identifies it from Atlantis). If the crystal could be identified as Atlantian, he would not have returned.
