It has a LOT more pleasant of a temperature than Australia, and its STILL considered "Oceania" in the south pacific just like Australia and New Zealand. I wish I could buy it, and make a country, and "drop" the word Island, and call it "Macquarie" and call the new people "Macquarians". Generate "Macquarian Dollars" make a new "Macquarie Flag", Coat of Arms, and Constitution, etc... Make a Macquarie Defense Force (MDF) with 9 branches... plus a "MDF" employed, multi-purpose force called the "Defense Force" consisting of Paramilitaries, and Mercenaries.
