WTF???....Loud Rumbling Noise & Shaking in Florida

I posted this on the other threads that are the same as well.

Sooooo.....my husband just came home from work and announced he heard this sound today. He is a techy guy and has knowledge of radio frequencies and electronics. Here was his thought:

He felt the sound itself was coming from the electrical lines, thus why he says it would sound like it is all around you. He felt that this "ringing", which is caused by a spike in a sine wave, is responsible. Please use the word ringing loosely as this is a technical term for the vibrating sound that comes from this spike. It doesn't mean it is high pitched. The depth of the sound depends on the frequency of the source it is harmonizing/phasing with. He felt this could happen as a result of:

- geomagnetic harmonization (from the core of the earth)
- radio frequency harmonization (HAARP)
- geomagnetic solar storm (I'll throw in Proton bombardment)

He also said it could be coming from cell towers.

He explained the sine wave could be simply a microsecond but would not interfere with electricity as it would not significanlty increase the amount of power in the line, but would cause a hammering sound effect. You would need a oscilloscope to check out your electric line to see if you notice anything. Since he is not currently working in the field of electronics he does not have one at his access.

He listened to the video from this thread and others yesterday so he knew what the sound was like and said the sound he heard today was very similar.

I'm no frequency expert, so can't back my husband's theory but I thought I would throw it out there for other's to digest. Since the earth was thrown off it's axis by just a smidge after the Japan EQ, I have to wonder if the increase in people hearing this is related. Also if there is action in the Gulf or around Florida in reference to asphalt volcanoes, could this be the culprit of geomagnetic disturbance that would harmonize in such a way?

If I misquoted my husband's technical terms in any way, please don't shoot the messenger...I did my best to relay what he told me. I did think it was an interesting enough theory to post here.

They've heard this rumbling from the northern East coast down to Texas. I must say, that's one loud engine test, to be heard across a span of 1200 miles. Sorry, not buying the test idea. Probably just the Earth's crust reacting to that large and powerful approaching magnetic and gravity source, our Sun's binary companion. It's causing vastly more quakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, sinkholes, building collapses, lithosphere tears and so on, so it's certainly plausible that it'd be causing some rumblingish crustal displacement on a wide scale too.

Shoot, I was going to travel to Florida for a seminar next month. Thinking I should change my plans...

I just heard this in Illinois. They said two f-18 jets landed, but I'm not buying it..

Without reading through all of the responses - I have heard rumblings during the daytime here for the past few weeks. No ground shaking, but, strong winds.

This is the Cause of that sound.

I'd like to add my 2-cents here. Firstly, I've orbited that star out there 43 times and I can say with complete clarity that I personally have never heard anything similar to the Florida couple's sound. (and I grew up in Florida)

Secondly, after accumulating years of life experiences, scenarios and events...one can draw certain conclusions about other certain events, etc...Here is what I feel I can safely say:

1: Not aircraft. The duration and the fact that there is no doppler effect discounts this.
2: Not a rocket burn, wind tunnel test or shuttle launch. Weather conditions at the time were not conducive to any these taking place.
3: This was not thunder or ductive resonance. Again, weather conditions could have produced thunder, yet watch the very end of the Florida video and ask yourself one question. If it was typical thunder, why then when the 'flash' occurs (which we would all assume WAS lightning) was there NO thunder heard shortly thereafter? In fact, after the flash the sound actually dissipates.
4: And the most important factor that no one seems to want to talk about is this:

These are adults witnessing and hearing an event that is beyond the normal sounds they've ever heard before in THEIR lives! So, if it were any of the sounds that have been suggested in all of these posts, don't you think they (and the countless others that called police) would have known the source of the sound? Surely whomever made those sounds didn't just decided to crank up a rocket test, or fly a squadron of B-52s on that particular, rainy day.

This event happened. It was witnessed by hundreds of people. It continues to happen globally. If it was a normal, everyday, typical mechanical man-made sound...they would have heard it before. I can tell you it personally creeped me out. I have no idea what it was, but it wasn't a common event...

I live on the beach in south Florida, just north of Ft. Lauderdale. I think the Ocean tells a lot of things, and right now it's different than normal. This weekend beaches all along the southeast coast were covered in oil/tar globs, and there have been tons of helicopters flying over day and night, way more than normal. I've heard 5 just as I type this. I can't always verify what kind, but some are way louder than others, flying low. I know there are many reasons for them, and living here for awhile, I'm used to them, but this is crazy. I, too, have heard very strange humming noises, but only late at night. I know that there has been oil washing up in the Gulf and that has been on the news, but even during the Gulf oil spill problems we didn't see any oil washing up over here. This combined with the "earthquake" to the north and others experiencing the same noises, I'm interested to know what's going on that we aren't being told about. Does this have something to do with all the supplies FEMA has ordered for a major 'emergency?' I don't know what to believe, but I came on this site in the first place because I felt something wasn't right, and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Okay, my friend in Rockford, Illinois has heard nothing, also his Family, just reporting, as promised.

There was a story I vaguely remember from the late 80s early 90s where people in the American west were hearing a low frequency hum. Theories were military activity, geothermal, seismic, long distance weather, power lines, etc. Supposedly the incessant noise was causing health problems. I think they made an x-files episode about it. This news story from Florida sounds familiar.

FL is going into the ocean!

We are on a well.... and the toilet gurgles and the flushing hasn't been the same. We figured just dry weather here but maybe it is more than that.
