It occurred to me while reading the articles that this is exactly what "they" want you to think. As I was reading, I couldn't help but feel like I was being swayed in a biased way against the CDC.

And anything CNN wants me to think, I have to question.

I don't think it's reasonable to use ANY persons sex life as a way to discredit ANYTHING in their work life. While I may not personally agree with her, it is none of my business, and this seems like a smear campaign.

Something to consider, it certainly rubbed me the wrong way.

From Mercola's link it looks like the CDC Director is a grey haired woman. Here is a better picture, somewhat younger. Looks like a regular person, scary!

But see, that is my point. The article was meant to make you feel in exactly that way, and it worked. It was not released to "help" anyone, it was released to get an agenda across. By just going with the knee-jerk "feeling" reaction, you play right into the hands of those who are trying to make you feel.

That is how propaganda works.

Am I the only one who thinks that this is a CIA take down? It is their normal MO to take down individuals who fall "out of line" using sex related smears in order to discredit them in media and to their families.

It will be interesting to see how they plead. On a gut check level, feels odd that a woman would get pulled in for this. Seems more likely given her rank in the CDC and relationship to anti-terrorism stuff that she threatened to disclose something or otherwise pissed off the powers that be and is being framed. Aren't sex crimes the favored means of framing these types of officials?
