They should have been able to get a damn close-up of that thing and track it, don't you think? FFS. All I saw was a field of 'stars'. If they can view the moon as huge as they show it in one of the videos, they sure as hell should have been able to get a damn tight close-up of this thing. Foul! |

Where is the damn close-up of this thing? I do not believe that this thing couldn't have been captured close-up. What a fucking bullshit non-event. I thought I read somewhere that it would take a couple of hours to go past. They can't focus a telescope on an aircraft carrier sized sphere that's closer than the moon? And track it for an hour or two?? WTF? |

They are probably on a "need to see basis" and we don't "need to see" There is a dumbass hiding on your keyboard. They are between "Y" and "I" |

All these telescopes and tools and toys are so expensive, none of us get to play with them. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4449749 We have to go to a fucking SHIT website and get spoon fed a little DUMBED FUCKING DOWN little radio show and webcam shots of NOTHING While these FUCKS rake in cash and advertising dollars and get rich off us. TELL ME EVERYONE, WHY CAN'T ALL OF US HAVE OUR OWN OBSERVATORIES AND DO OUR OWN EXPLORATION. WHY DO WE SIT AROUND AND HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS ENFORCED IGNORANCE? FUCKING BASTARDS FUCKING BANKRUPT WORLD NO matter how hard any of us work, we will never get to have a telescope that we can really do something with. We get to sit around listening to DULLARDS, DUMBBELLS, DUNCES, and DIMWITS with (MONEY) who think it would be neat to have a telescope who can't even UTILIZE with WIZARDRY. I think I might just jump. Many amateur astronomers have an observatory: [link to obs.nineplanets.org] |
