The bible describes the promised land of Isreal as a "Land flowing with Milk and Honey". Isn't America also referred to the same way. Did the puritans or early Americans think that this was the true promissed land? COuld it be true, or is it just an expression? Some say that Christopher Columbus and and some of the others who accompanied him were Jewish and concealing their true identities. [link to en.wikipedia.org]
