Going to a BCM BFH 16" upper with a Geissele FCG (SD-C). Not sure what I want to do with the BCG, I might just stay with the BCM BCG for awhile and see if I like it. Might change the charging handle too, thinking of the Rainer Armors Raptor for that.

HA! I have owned a number of AK's (47's and 74's) and SKS's. I like my SKS for hog hunting. AK's I like to mod as well, but you are pretty much limited to what you can do on them though.

Get a good MP tested Nickle Boron coated BCG.. and see if you can get your upper done as well.. scrap that Geissele they are a pain in the ass.. you can get a fine trigger with standards parts. have your FCG NiB as well and throw your lube away.

I put a few puffs of dry teflon on my gas rings and can fire a case of ammo with no malfs.

then use a stainless brush to knock off the carbon, soak BCG in soapy boiling water dry.. lather rinse repeat.

I don't know I like that trigger. My eyes like it, but I think my finger would like it less. Haven't got to play with one.

I'd make a seal around the charging handle, keep CLP(or w/e) from spraying in the face.

As for BCG.. She how she fairs.

I thought about going with the NiB BCG as well. Not to concerned with the trigger, if I don't like it, I will just change it out again.

I will have to look into the NiB on the BCG and FCG.

I dont have an AR but I have a couple questions.

Where can I purchase a full auto trigger group for an AR?

As long as I dont have a gun to put it in, can I have one?

Both, I use an Eotech 553 now with iron back-ups. I might get new irons for it now though so I can swap the old upper to my other AR (which is just a lower at this point).

I was thinking the same thing on the BCG before I go but an NiB BCG.

If I don't like the trigger I will put the old one back in until I find one I like. Never tried this style so I will see how it Fairs.

But as for nickel everything; No offence, I'll stick with CLP(or whatever). The stuffs not a tough as it ought' be. And when it goes bad, it's like chrome peeling and flaking.

No, you can't have a full auto trigger even if don't have the weapon. NFA rules apply to triggers but not BCG's.

You can get the triggers any number of places, not sure on the process to get them though.

Full auto sears are NFA Title III items. You need a BATF tax stap along with a revokable trust, be a corporation or be a license NFA dealer to have one. Otherwise you can be committing a felony offense just having one.

Oh, and since they're controlled item, being they are not made available to the public, the ones that are available will probably cost you about $10K (at least).

Regarding the auto trigger assemblies...

It sometimes helps to know someone with a small machine shop who can make "Tractor Parts" for you.

I am looking at the NiC BCG's as well. Going to try this one for a bit then decide.

They are a great amount of fun to mod. Can get a bit pricy one of the reasons I am holding off on the NiC BCG and other things.

Machine shops and tractor parts are one route to go.
