There were some recent excuses about distinguishing between pre and post Tianshi Dao. Why can't you just be forthright and use the correct terms? I know what you're talking about when you mean religious Daoism, but maybe others don't. All the same, I consider myself a pre-Tianshi Daoist as well, and in pre-Tianshi Daoism there are still references to XiWangMu, Bei Dou, etc. centuries or millennia before Tianshi. So your Tianshi references are red herring. OP didn't seem aware at all about these things I have mentioned that a pre-Tianshi Daoist, or any well learned Daoist of any kind, should know.
