First, your earlier post asserted that anyone who disbelieves the official story about 9/11 must therefore believe in trillions of dollars in bribes. That post was slanderous idiocy, and I think you realize that now.

Second, your latest post apparently asserts that one must already have all the evidence in a case before calling for an investigation. This is obviously bass-ackwards. The whole point of calling for an unbiased, public, international investigation is to ferret out all the evidence, including the extraction of sworn court testimony from all witnesses.

Third, your latest post foolishly assumes that all of the most powerful people in the world are 'independent'. This is not only naive, it is self-contradictory. Powerful people got to where they are by 'playing ball' with other powerful people, not by 'going it alone'. By definition, powerful people belong to complicated social networks, networks that enable some activities and constrain some others. The net effect is one of mutual blackmail, in which powerful people implicitly set limits to their own and each other's behavior for their long-term mutual benefit.

In other words, powerful people are easily blackmailable by other powerful people, but that is almost in the very nature of power, and the blackmail operates in both directions.

And what about the less powerful people? They are *easily* blackmailed, intimidated, or threatened into silence by the powerful people. History has shown us this for millennia. When Nero set fire to Rome and blamed the Christians, do you doubt for a minute that he threatened immediate execution of anyone who dared breathe a word of his nefarious deed? Do you really believe our modern-day leaders are so much more virtuous than Nero?
