Flashback to 1974. That’s when Mao described the world as being divided between superpowers (the US and USSR); intermediate powers (Japan, Europe, Canada); and exploited nations in Africa, Latin America and Asia, which Mao praised as constituting the forces against First World hegemony. Mao placed China in the third world – as Deng Xiaoping told the UN.

What’s fascinating is how Chen Gang interprets BRI not only as a sequel to China’s historical ties with the Third World, but also as opening a “new era of China’s Third World strategy.” He correctly states that US and EU elites worry that BRI will bring about “the erosion of their global influence and overseas interests.”

"This is the first paper that compares the bones of prehistoric women to those of living women, and it has allowed us to identify a hidden history of consistent and rigorous manual labor among women across thousands of years of farming,” says study coauthor Alison Macintosh of the University of Cambridge.

The study, published today in Science Advances, suggests that women were a driving force behind the development of agriculture during its earliest 6,000 years in Central Europe.

That is mostly bs propaganda, although women were the seeders but did not do the preparing fields in ancient traditional agriculture from many sources. Even Egyptian hieroglyphs show that; women seeds, men plough.

Have you read or seen this? Shows the classification system on merit doesn't work because that is where sickness and susceptibility of dis-ease comes in, but in that, nature always comes back full force to recorrect/realign. Look at farming/agriculture as an example and nature, what we have done to it.

"At first, serpents were not poison. No roots were poison, and man would have lived forever, but the sun passing over, perceived that the earth was not large enough to support all, in immortality, that would be born. Poison was inserted in the tooth of the snake, in the root of the wild parsnip, etc. And one of the first family was soon bitten by a snake and died. All possible means were used to bring him to life but in vain."-An old tale told to Daniel Butrick who transferred to playwright John Howard Payne in early 19th century.

Exception to the rule was found early to the peoples in homeopathy. And it is known that historical ethnobotany was rarely an exact science to the Old World because of their limited knowledge of languages and species.

When is immortality and bringing back to life in the similar vein?

Inulin is a natural storage carbohydrate present in more than 36,000 species of plants, including wheat, onion, bananas, garlic, asparagus, Jerusalem artichoke and chicory. For these plants, inulin is used as an energy reserve and for regulating cold resistance.[4][5] Because it is soluble in water, it is osmotically active. The plants can change the osmotic potential of cells by changing the degree of polymerization of inulin molecules with hydrolysis. By changing osmotic potential without changing the total amount of carbohydrate, plants can withstand cold and drought during winter periods.

It would force alter everyone's behavior, but in a way that is just another form of exploitation. Outgoing people would naturally have a higher rating due to more social interactions. Awkward socially, make a mistake, do something stupid?...watch the rating and one's social status 'nosedive'. Most can't handle small blows to their ego without shattering emotionally.

Where would the privacy be? Can you imagine people pointing their phone at you and seeing a rating above your head?

The problem is that systems that process citizens’ personal data often rely on machine learning. And, unlike standard “if-then” algorithms, machine-learning models are kind of a “black box” – no one knows exactly what happens inside and the exact reasoning behind the output.
This is especially the case with methods relying on neural networks. Decision-tree-based machine-learning methods allow, in theory, for determining the learning path. However, severe constraints exist that make any explanation extremely difficult.

It is essentially a way to punish the socially awkward and deify the opposite. Also, it will keep people in line by everyone becoming immediate subject to their peers and their peer's opinions of them.

Which essentially is already true of the Web, but having that follow you in IRL, a much different game. Where privilege is granted directly due to a rating and punishment doled out as well? In a country as huge as China?

There is a reason I haven't placed a single image of myself on the web for 8 years. This is one of them.

Getting somewhere with red skies prophecies altering environment

'Red shift' is a key concept for astronomers. The term can be understood literally - the wavelength of the light is stretched, so the light is seen as 'shifted' towards the red part of the spectrum. Something similar happens to sound waves when a source of sound moves relative to an observer.
