so its totally blocked out by blue sky

You should rather watch for stars, see if you can see any.

I don't think so. I was just out and have three pairs of tinted glasses on at the same time. That Sun is brighter than I have ever seen it. I am still trying to adjust and I am back in the house. I only looked for an instant. Don't take a chance of injuring your eyes. Borrow the kid's glasses. The eclipse will take a while. There is time for all to see it.

No, I see it with my own eyes. It's almost half way covered. I don't no where you are seeing it from but from my angle top right.

I just tried to look at it without protection for literally a split second and am still seeing a glare, so that's not an option lol. I'm concerned about it glaring out the entire screen as well. I'm playing with the settings now to see if I cant get it right.
