I have in the past used my firearm as a tool for defending myself, but never in anger or aggression toward another human...I have killed animals with them... In summary, my firearms are used as tools, and of course any tool can be abused and misused. I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

Not many understand that the 5.56 round is basically a hopped up .22 round that was designed to wound not kill in the first place, that's why the military is now switching to the 7.62x51 or what civilians call the .308 winchester, now that round is accurate 500 yards further than the 5.56 round was designed for killing at all ranges. Well a rebuttal would be welcome, but being as I was in the military in the 80's to early 90's I understand the AR way better than any Joe blow on the street due to the fact I've used them in action and have seen first hand what they are and can do.
